Game seems to affect Windows HDR

The game looks fine on my monitor but whenever I alt+tab out or exit the game altogether, my display becomes dimmed. Usually it's the entire display, but at one point I alt+tabbed out to Windows and the chrome window that was snapped to the left of my screen and that had focus was not dimmed, but the other chrome window that was snapped to the right of my screen, as well as the taskbar, were dimmed.

The only solution I've found to fix this is to exit the game, then turn HDR off and back on. I'm not quite sure how to fix it permanently.

I have this exact same issue with several games. Tends to only be the cheaper games though, Mine does it with this game too.
