Well now with steams new refund policy its worth a shot. though for playtime I think there is a 3 hour limit. and i have 5 due to idling :(

These people passed up a chance to make a ton more money by finishing the game, you think they're gonna give any of it back? On the first anniversary of the last time it was updated, Steam should wipe this game from the planet and I'll get over the poorly spent money.

Just requested a refund. Yes, the refund policy states no more than 2 hours of playtime and two weeks since buying, but it also leaves room for exceptions (and there is space to describe your reasons). Since this is an abandoned early access game, from a time before early access was even a thing, I figure it has a better chance than most other 'invalid' cases. 7 hours of playtime, but half of that was probably spent idling in the Potato Sale. We'll see what Valve says (and I think it's all up to Valve, not Dejobaan) - I can't say $5 is any significant loss if it doesn't work, but if it DOES work, that sends yet another message to the developer that they need to do something about this situation - delete the game, make it free-to-play, or at least post a long-overdue update - I'd be slightly happier with any of those three options even if I do never get my money back.

I sent another message to them, here's my message:

March 18th I sent a message regarding the complete lack of updates for one of your games since 2013. This is unacceptable in any form or way. Putting a game on E.A. means taking customer's trust in the company and their ability to complete the product. This is however not done. Many people, including myself, are NOT happy with the way things have been going the last few years.
What my plan is, and I'm copying this message to the Steam community, that if there are no more significant updates on Steam, refunds being given out or at least a public message is given, I will start a petition to take the game off Steam. I know that there are many unhappy customers which would be very willing to sign it.

And this is their reply:

Apologies again for the delay, and thanks for caring about the game enough to follow up on it. We have an update scheduled for August 21st. We'll post publicly about it as we approach the date.

We'll just have to see. If they don't keep their promise I'll create a petition to take it off Steam and get refunds (possibly, my biggest interest is in taking down abominations on Steam)

Unfortunately, no. City 15 cannot be accessed in the current version of the game as far as I know.

Dejo have abandoned it, therfore Steam should allow refunds, because after 5 years Dejo is ripping the crap from consumers by still listed as EA.


Either refund, remove from EA or update with info. Hell we already have Dejos similar games, Aarrgh 1 & 2 plus the dlc. Same old

Steam refuse to refund, I have had this "game" in my account since April 2011, lomng before this Early Access crap, and the game has never worked. Terrible, and even more so because its still sold on Steam. Developer and Steam should be ashamed, but latley there is a lot of crap on Steam.

I think the worst thing is that they actually changed it multiple times. The game (such as it was) was better before then they changed it to make it worse. No idea if it's any different than the last time I tried though, wouldn't be surprised...

I've repoted the game on the store. After 5 years its safe to admit its abandoned and not eligible to be listed as Early Access. Hit report, Vent your spleen! ;>
