Reforge Stones:

Legendary Reforge stone

Transcendent Reforge stone

We have enabled the inventory tab in your collections. You can now receive reforge stones from the Standard packs, that can be bought in our store. Once you open them in a pack, they will appear in your inventory.

In the Variations tab, there will now be a new option to reforge your Legendary or Transcendent cards. With the Legendary Reforge stone, you can change one Transcendent ability either on your Legendary or your Transcendent card. With the Transcendent reforge stone, you can change both abilities on your Transcendent cards only.

The drop rates in the Standard packs will be as follows:

Legendary Reforge stone - 1.5% / pack
Transcendent Reforge stone - 0.5% / pack

User Interface:

New Frames for Hero cards
New Frames for Energy cards
Slight change in the default card back.
Deckbuilder and card collections are now more compact and more readable.
Energy Filters are not darker when not selected.
Titles now have a new frame
Rewards tab will now select correctly when clicked.
Card descriptions will now react better to the mouse wheel and not scroll to the top anymore.
Card details will now appear more smoothly when hovered in hand and on the board.
Clicking on the ground received some tweaking
Mark of Death now has a new image.
Hero cards are now the same size as other cards in the collection and the deckbuilder.
Added background blur to all menus to make them more readable.
Several other smaller tweaks to the UI

Beings:

Ruthless Demon - Changed rarity from Common to Epic. Moved from Starter set to Prologue. No longer part of the Starter decks.
Shieldmaiden - Changed rarity from Common to Epic. Moved from Starter set to Prologue. No longer part of the Starter decks.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed Barrier of Protection’s first option incorrectly triggering on friendly spells.
Fixed some sounds still being played even with volume sliders at minimum.
Fixed issue with Arcane not drawing the correct amount of cards if near or at maximum hand size.
Fixed deck card count not working correctly.
Several options menu fixes.
Fixed text fields on login screen.
Fixed Aura Burn’s 2nd option being grayed out even if the player had 3 energy available.
Fixed Siege Commander Cassius and Shield Wall buffs not clearing from beings if they were stolen by Matar or The Puppet Master.
Fixed Desert Energy not triggering if a player casts a spell with increased/decreased energy cost such as one put in hand by Elder Orb of Urna.
Afterlife fix for removed card not being updated visually.
Toggling the menu animated background button will now correctly enable the apply button.

Why so much negativity?

so many steam reviews are negative for this game, aggressive about the small things they dont like about the game. its a early access card game, and its pretty good for the stage it is at. i just dont understand why people seem so angry haha also the people who seem to dislike something simply because AI did art for it is hilarious....

To devs: I shouldn't need to login every time

To the development team, I shouldn't have to login (regardless of register method) every single time I launch the game. Please pass along my previous token that will log me in. If it expires every 60 days, whatever, but having to log into my Google account every launch is annoying and will, unfortunately, filter out a lot of players due to the inconvenience....

UI:

We have improved card text readability. It is not perfect on some cards due to the constraints of the Unreal Engine, but it should be better for most cards and in line with the - - images on our website. This is a work-in-progress, so we will be happy with any feedback you can provide.
Added color coded words for abilities. Passive abilities are colored blue, active abilities are colored green.
We have added an energy counter on the hero frame, so now you have a better view of the energy at a glance.
There is now a setting to disable the moving background in the menu to improve performance.
The cards in hand are now slightly lower and slightly smaller to make some room for the secondary hero power icon and the tooltip. Being moved to the bottom of the hero frame.
added a "x" next to the search and filters to clear the bar quickly.

Mechanics:

When cards are destroyed or entering the afterlife generally. They will now always go to their owners afterlife.
Cards will now always correctly go to the bottom of the deck when a mechanic puts them back in the deck.

Auras:

Barrier of Protection - Slightly reworded the second option.

Beings:

Apep, Demon of the South - Slightly reworded the ability.
Black Forest Guard - Slightly reworded the ability.
Mad Elf - Changed wording to reflect two separate abilities tied to either burrowing or unburrowing.
Mistake, King of the Underworld - Slightly reworded the ability.
Restless Elven Spirit - Added Spirit subtype. It’s now a proper Elf Spirit.
River Golem - Changed wording to reflect two separate abilities tied to either burrowing or unburrowing.
Subterranean Terror - Slightly reworded the ability.
The Black One - Slightly reworded the ability.
The White One - Slightly reworded the ability.

Spells:

Cunning - Reworded the text of the first option to use the keyword Tax.

Bug Fixes:

Changed Freeze ability icon color from blue to green.
Reworded The Original Being’s text to indicate that the ability can be used at any time during your turn (like Burrow, Freeze, Devour etc.)
Tinas should now work correctly.
3>1 should now work correctly and no longer destroy a card if you already have 10 cards in hand.
Several sharedboard movement fixes that should address some common bugs.
Delay should now work correctly when played from the sharedboard.
Multiple fixes for Orb of Silence
Some crash fixes when no decks are selected and when quitting on authorization screen.
Fixed an issue when an aura would be put in the wrong afterlife.
Fixed a crash where discarding a card your opponent owned with the 3>1 mechanic to put it in your deck, then drawing it and destroying it while having a full hand. The card will now correctly go to your opponent’s afterlife.
Fixed a crash where the Puppet Master dies and would return a being, but that player has a full board. The controlled card will now be destroyed.
Fixed an issue where a card could be discounted by Elder Orb for more than the base cost, as you could then play Aura Burn (base cost 1, discounted for 2, cost = -1), and pay 2 extra for aura destroy while having only 1 energy. The system would approve this since the sum of all costs was 1. But as it took energy step by step, it crashed the game.
Fixed a bug where One of Seven could be healed for a negative amount when removing shackles.
Fixed the “Card not part of deck” crash

Lowered Whisper Hero Power activation volume.

Text:

Changed Tax text from “gains Tax X” to “is Taxed X” to indicate that it’s a negative effect.

Bug Fixes:

Beings resurrected by Tinas should no longer have the Eria or Matar, God of Power “First being played on your turn” buffs applied.
Fixed Shield Wall’s +0/+1 buff applying to burrowed beings until it left the game.
Fixes for Matar, God of Power’s passive ability
Fixes for Eria Goddess of Life’s passive ability
Elder Orb of Urna return spell option fix
When Multiple Elder Orb of Urna are present, Void option now gets prioritized.
Tinas City of Spirits should no longer sometimes crash the game.

Tinas should now always die first and then let you resurrect another aura.
Several Orb of Silence fixes
Fix for targeting arrow not disappearing sometimes
Small fix for Leviathan, now has ability descriptions for Spellward and Shield as well.
Cards drawn when you are nearing maximum hand size should now correctly work and be able to be played or be destroyed and sent to the afterlife if drawn over your maximum hand size.
