What do trucks do and how do they work?

I got three idle trucks next to the train station. What do they do?

You will be able to send them to some spots on the world map if you find those during scouting missions.

But how do you send them? When I click on the warehouse it shows idle trucks, but seem like there's no way to send them to a spot on a map?

Also, when I click on a depot on the world map, nothing happens.

The spots on the map itself will have buttons to Send and fetch trucks... if you don't have this, then you haven't found the spots yet. Only found in Chapter 2+ i believe. So if you did the upgrade earlier you just wasted your resources.

That's a bit confusing, I had a scout mission where it said a farm had burned down and the farmer agrees to let us loot the remaining stuff in exchange for treating his children at the hospital. But the "loot" symbol on the map is not clickable.

That one allows your scouts to loot the location. You will see that scouts carry some resources if you go to the "Preview Teams" view. Also, you can assign a team to the location via that preview window.

i finish chapter 1 and 2, where did all scout missions but ... not find any location to send truck ... mayby this mechanics is not yet implemented in game

It's a bit random due to the choices you take in scout events. I found 2 in chapter 2 but none in chapters 1 and 3.
