Unexplainable morale drops in Chapter 2
Hi everyone !

During gameplay, I've been experiencing sudden and drastic drops in morale which automatically lead to the end of the game. Despite closely monitoring my actions and events within the game, I've noticed no discernible triggers or events associated with these morale drops, except for an audible bell sound.

This issue significantly impacts my gaming experience as it renders the game unplayable.

Could you please clarify whether this is a bug within the game? If so, I kindly request your prompt attention to resolving it as soon as possible. Alternatively, if this is not a bug, I would greatly appreciate an explanation of what triggers these morale drops and guidance on how to address this within the game.

Thank you very much for your feedback =)

I also got moral drop in Chapter II since too many civilians died from a plague (I was prioritising wounded soldiers - lots of chemical wounds)... not sure if I got moral boost if the civilians were healed, but I send some of recover soldiers home for a moral increase and survived the Chapter 2.

Make sure you have enough food when the canteen timer runs down. This is what was happening to me and switching to half rations fixed it

Make a decision early about treating people, if you are not planning to treat the civillians, then be heartless and dont accept them as refugee's, then you wont get the morale drop of them dying around the hospital. It isn't a nice thing to do however it does get you through the chapter

I've had this happen in chapter 2 and chapter 3 - literally for no reason. I have heaps of food, people are being treated and surviving surgery. It is really frustrating and I end up failing the chapter if I can't get it under control with the increased nutrition, which then i almost run out of food and its the same saga all over again

Hi! Thank you all for taking your time to play the game and report your finds.

Please check in-game log for "Patient died in transport" entries when that happens.
In most cases it's caused by having not enough medic teams assigned to the ADS while the trenches are flooded with wounded.
If you enter the trenches and the spots there contain like 10+ soldiers each, the situation is quite bad and you can expect those drops when people start dying there.
Due to the sheer number, they will die several at a time, hence a bigger morale loss.

Best, Brave Lamb Studio team

Hello! Thank you for addressing the issue and for your valuable advice. I've assigned more medics the aid station, and it seems to have resolved the problem. Additionally, I've managed to complete Chapter 2. I appreciate your prompt response and assistance. Best regards.

Morale drops too much in comparison with how many you can get back by sending your soldiers off duty. I also lost chapter 2 due to high morale drops (up to 10% from one single death)
