some thoughts on the game
Just finished the game and had some thoughts it wanted to share which might be helpful on making the game even better.

Although I had loads of fun with the game, the last chapter was kind of a grind and more of the same. After having all the upgrades, the hospital kind of runs on its own and you don't have any problem anymore. The magic of difficulty/shortage you had on the first chapter, you just don't have it anymore. It has no priority but the end game is kind of meh.

Now just some points:
- I have discovered really late how you can get more scouts in your scout teams. I did almost all the scout mission with no scouts in the teams itself. I still could complete the missions so i also didn;t saw a point on improving it.
- 4 scout teams are way to much for the amount of scouting missions you have. Almost all the time, the teams were doing nothing
- the blue alerts (events during operations) are kind of annoying if you have 7 of them at the same time and you just click something. In the first chapter they are cool, but in chapter 2 and 3, they become to common
- The trauma patients duration kind of fills up the whole rehabilitation center. This is due to the long treatment they have. I had in chapter 3, 20 trauma patients waiting with 3 doctors. I don't expect that this is meant to be.
- It is annoying to find and click on the crew that have leveled up. Maybe put a button somewhere on the screen to level up the crew. This is especially annoying with medic teams that are somewhere in the trenches.

Maybe I think about more things, but this is the first batch :-p

+1 to all of this but the trauma patients.

My biggest problem in the end was that I had over 400 military money units und over 20 unused personal points while completely struggling in chapter 1.

Chapter 3 definitely needs more balancing since it is way easier than the two previous chapters.

Not able to see which staff have bonuses in which areas in the assignment menu.
Lost in chapter two randomly, morale when from 80% to 0 over 5-6 days with no explanation for the big drops.
After almost having finished all the scouting events in chapter 2 I still haven't found a use for trucks.
After taking all of the expensive/safe options for the tunnel building the germans still find it and blow it up creating 70 casualties (right after a line offensive so there's even more waiting for the acs)

i dont think it was easier per say than chapter 2. definitely easier than chapter 1 due to the hospitals increased capabilities but chapter 1 you are just screwed. in chapter 2 you generally expand the hospital and dont really have any kind of capacity troubles

completely forgot about the tunnels. didnt even register it at the time. i had 80% morale for a short time but was normally sat around the 95 to 99% mark

I obviously do not agree with this. My whole rehabilitation center was full of trauma patients. In chapter 2, after the special event my rehabilitation center was constant +20 over capacity due to having more then 20 trauma patients while having max doctors. It also raised the question for me if a trauma ward on a front hospital is history accurate but thats beside the point.

1. Some other points which came to mind is the inefficiency of the time slot mechanism. The 8 hours is not good because your employees are just doing nothing for 2/3 of the time and every slows to much down to a point that you dont get enough resources, treatment of patients are to slow etc.

The 12 hours is to long for most employees and they get exhousted/collapsed within 12 hours. This leaves you with the 24 hours and just doing it manually. But maybe i minx/maxed it to much.

2. Another point of the trauma doctors. A patient can take 18 hours, and they can treat 3 patients in a row. This means that they work for 40 hours and then take a rest. This is a little bit of a long time.

If your rehab station is overcrowded you need to assign more nurses to it. It will speed things up there quite a lot. I have seen upwards of 90% faster rehab times.
