Quick question about Poll Mine
So how do the rankings work when no one picks multiple options? Like for instance, say we have two different options that no one ends up choosing, what determines which one is #8 and which one is #7?

I would like to know this too!

I would also like to know... all players contribute to what door each number is right, not just the opposing team?

Does the game average all of the door numbers together? So if one player ranks an item as #1, another player ranks that item as #3, and another player as #4, that averages to 2.67, making it door #3?

It's kinda insane to me that the tie-breaking isn't explained in the game!

We can at least see from the tutorial, that if two choices have the same number of *points*, then the tiebreaker is how many players voted for it. But, doesn't solve every case, such as the original poster's case of, what if nobody voted for either one.

I set up a 2 player game and played both sides, to try to figure it out, by intentionally setting up a lot of ties. But it just seems random.

If two options have 0 votes, and you're required to guess rank 8, I was hoping maybe *either* one you pick would be considered a success, they'd just call it Rank 8 to help you. But no!

I was also thinking, maybe whoever submits their votes FIRST, contributes slightly more points to break the tie. But no! Doesn't seem to have an effect.

My only remaining plausible guess, is that they have data from many jackbox players and how they voted, and they use that data to break the tie. OR, they have data from employees in the jackbox office, and that data breaks the tie.

OR they just literally choose randomly, but that would just be such a horrible way to do it--every game I've played of Poll Mine so far, had a voting tie.
