Still only one language

We're in 2021 and we're still getting only one language for Jackbox Games.

Don't tell me it's a question of money, it could be community centered as so many people request localization support on all the previous entries and are willing to help for free. We could even re-adapt some jokes for a larger audience so it doens't rely on American culture only now.

It's pure lazyness and you know it Jackbox team.

Well it could be a question of money. they are only a studio of 50 people. also, they are a chicago based company so all jokes are american, as an american, i find myself lost when playing games like Persona with the jokes that are very japanese centric. so, i dont think jackbox is the only company that doesnt adjust

They translated their standalone games. But I agree that they should really consider translating their main games one day. There's several ways to do that, they should try some.

You're seriously kidding here... There are studios with less than 5 devs that deliver more than one language, and these guys are generating money with this IP since a long time...

Just like others wrote here: only english, nothing to buy here...

Don't lose hope yet. This is by far the Pack most likely to be translated later. Why? Five main factors:
1. In Epic Games Store, they put "The Jackbox Party Pack 8 is currently in English only". This is the first time ever they put "currently" in the description of a Pack.
2. Inside the games files, in the folders where all the prompts and such reside, every game now has all of that inside a folder called en, similar to the standalone games Quiplash 2 InterLASHional and Drawful 2.
3. By opening some SWF files from Job Job and Weapons Drawn, you can find the five flags used in Quiplash 2 and Drawful 2. Even more impressive, they're not the same as these two, they are slightly different (mainly the Spanish flag now has a more simplified symbol).
4. Previously, on the Steam page, on every Pack it says "NOTE: This game is in English ONLY". However, this is not the case on Pack 8. Said note does not appear in the store page.
5. Compared to other games, this is probably the easiest to translate. Maybe the wheel of enormous proportions could be a tricky one, but the rest are completely doable.
So yeah. If I had to guess, next year we'll see an update with more languages for this Pack. There's just too many factors saying this will be the case.

Umm, maybe we talk English but our friends don't...? Which makes these games completely unplayable...?

and don't forget family, especially older people. and the narrator talks pretty fast (and somewhat sophisticated english) most of the time, too fast for my friends

This is a party game and not everyone in the world speaks English. I remember playing "You don't know Jack" on a console years ago and even that one was translated. Why are none of the games on Steam translated? It's pointless to buy for me unless translated.
