Two independant machines. An Intel Core 2 duo, and an AMD 64 X2, both systems run Win7 64. Crash crash crash. No love for me.

I would try to validate the game cache, if that doesnt work try to delete and reinstall since its not a very big game.

I did that couple of times. Tried to play it on Steam, on Desura, downloaded it even from a Torrent site just to see but still the main.exe crashes as soon as it starts loading it. Any tips what I can do in order to play it? Win7 64x, 4gigs of ram, ATI HP7700 video.

Thanks!

I've got the same problem, haven't tried my Desura copy but Steam crashes every time. My machine: i5 2500K, 8GB RAM, GTX 680 and W7 64-bit. Have yet to try running as admin, will do that and report back.

Yep, none of the compatibility options do anything, verifying game cache doesn't turn up any problems and reinstalling does nothing either.

Ok, fixed it! In Windows 7:
Click Start
Right click Computer
Click Properties
Under the Advanced tab, click Settings... in the Performance box
Click the Data Execution Prevention tab
If you have 'Turn on DEP for all programs and services..." checked, click Add... then navigate to ../Steam/steamapps/common/AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!/main.exe and add it
Click apply.

Works for me now.

Windows 8 here, this fix didn't work for me, sadly. Similar issue with Poker Night 2 that I can't get to run anymore :(

I have bought the first poker night game after couple of months nerves and angry comments I finally made it start properly but I don't think for buying the 2nd game... BS man just BS...

Another fix that worked for me for WIn 7 64.... according to the steam game page its designed for VIsta. So go to game folder... C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! and right click on main, go to compatibility, click on Run this program in compatibility mode and choose Vista Service Pack 2. Also check run as administrator. Should now launch thru steam without crash.

Fixed my Poker Night 2 issues by unplugging the Xbox controller. Apparently it has issues with alternative inputs, so only use mouse and keyboard and unplug other hardware.

I don't have an Xbox controller, but I just don't have the nerves to go trough all that again with the 2nd game. >_<
