Thanks!
Yep, none of the compatibility options do anything, verifying game cache doesn't turn up any problems and reinstalling does nothing either.
Ok, fixed it! In Windows 7:
Click Start
Right click Computer
Click Properties
Under the Advanced tab, click Settings... in the Performance box
Click the Data Execution Prevention tab
If you have 'Turn on DEP for all programs and services..." checked, click Add... then navigate to ../Steam/steamapps/common/AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!/main.exe and add it
Click apply.
Works for me now.
Windows 8 here, this fix didn't work for me, sadly. Similar issue with Poker Night 2 that I can't get to run anymore :(
Click Start
Click Run
Type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK.
On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
Click the Data Execution Prevention tab
If you have 'Turn on DEP for all programs and services..." checked, click Add... then navigate to ../Steam/steamapps/common/AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!/main.exe and add it
Click apply.
Works for me now.
