AaAaAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity

One huge problem (and a fix)
The problem is that I won't be able to finish it.

I mean the levels that cost 12,000 teeth will only give you 10,000 at most if you get 5 stars on it.
To ever unlock all the levels you're going to have to 5-star every single one in the game which is just ridiculous.

At this point I guess I'm done with the game. I'm not going to constantly replay the levels to try and get more teeth. I won't be able to get 5 stars on everything.

I understand that the reason the teeth are there in the first place is to force the game to last longer by making you replay levels.
But there's nothing wrong with a game that doesn't take long to play through and provides good re-playability. That's what this game should of done. Let us go back and perfect the levels to maybe get some secret unlockable extras, but don't force us to repeat levels just to make your game longer. It should of been more like you need an average of 3 stars per level to unlock everything.

but that's not how it is and by doing this, the game is now even shorter than it would have been otherwise because I have no desire to keep replaying the levels I've already finished.

Horrible game decision that just ruins it.
If you're interested in this game, I'd avoid it unless you're a perfectionist
edit: or don't mind modding if you have to. see below.

I enjoyed the progression I made with it but it's disappointing that I can't finish it.

edit: An idea I had worked.
I found my save file and added more teeth in with minimal effort.
I opened my save file up with notepad++ and just looked for the number that matched up to the number of teeth I had.
Which was on the first line.

For anyone interested in doing this, the location of the save file is in Drive/ OS/ C: > Users > Username > Appdata > Local > AaaaaRecklessDisregard

Just open it up in a text editor (notepad++ worked for me) and edit the first line to a high amount.
Then you'll have enough teeth to unlock everything.

It's unfortunate that I had to cheat my save file just to get to play all the levels, but at least I'll get to finish the game.
I've heard that the semi-sequel has save files in the registry for some stupid reason so I probably won't be able to do it on that one :(

You coulda just replayed levels. You mentioned 5 starring the levels that cost like 12000 teeth gives you about 10000 teeth, why not play through those again and get more 10000 teeth?

The amount of teeth you get for replaying levels and scoring as high as you did before doesn't give anywhere near as much as when you first get the stars.
It would take ages.

Hello,
I totally agree with your post. It´s a nice game, but having to play it with the obligation to earn teeth to unlock everything is just ridiculous. The game is already hard from the middle onward, and I just don´t think it´s fun to replay the same level a lot of times just to unclok the rest of the game.
I´ll try your editing suggestion. Thanks.
For the Aaaaa! for the Awesome, I think the registry location is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dejobaan Games\Awesome. But couldn´t find the save info here...

In AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome, in order to edit the Kneecaps:
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dejobaan Games\Awesome
Edit the entry "playerKneecaps_hxxxxxxxxxx" (x is any set of numbers) with the desired Kneecaps. It should read your current amount. (remember to select Decimal before editing).
Note: probably you will need to earn some kneecaps in order to this entry appear in the registry in the first place.
You´re editing you Windows registry. Do it at your own risk.

Just started playing this game and was quite worried when I thought this would be the case. Sadly, looks like my guess was right. I have been playing the levels over a couple times as I unlock each one, hopefully that will help somewhat.

You must be very good already if you encounter this as a problem. For the little experience I have, I need to try every level five to ten times or more before getting the 5-star rating. That is more than enough times to get all the required teeth.

I have no idea what are you talking about. I had to play level 2-3 times to get at least 3 stars and 10-15 to get 5 starts. I have unlocked everything and i have 80000 teeth atm yet i am far from 5starring every level
