It did not, I can get on the game but i cannot play due to "what i think is a bug atm", some sort of infinite sign in issue. Its also locked me out of forza 4 on steam too.
still locked, hello steam? hello?
i cannt even open the game wtf
So i bought the vip big pack and can not play rn is there something im missing that i forgot to do or something cause im super annoyed that i spent all that money and cant play it early
game loads for me and gets to menu, trying start game or settings both bring up a prompt that login is required, but there is nowhere to login or make a new account. Anyone know a fix?
i used this and now my games are running, I found it on a forum online and it wouldnt let me copy the guys name sadly so dont give me credit for this:

Possible Solution
Hello, I have some news that might interest you.
After several miserable hours contacting Microsoft & Forza Support and troubleshooting on my own, I think I have discovered 1 possible fix to this issue.
After some discussion, this fix also appears to be working for some other players.

WARNING: I am not an expert on this matter, I do not know the full impact of my idea, I cannot guarantee any results, and I cannot provide support to you if you choose to try my fix.
Please finish reading this post before trying it on your own.

I am not sure if this will work for you, but here is what I did:
Sign out of Xbox Live on your PC (might be optional)
Windows Key / Start Menu
Search for and open the "Credential Manager"
Navigate to the "Windows Credentials"
Scroll down to "Generic Credentials"
Click on and "Remove" any Generic Credentials that start with "Xbl".
Examples look like this:
"Xbl_Ticket|12345..." (there is more)
"Xbl|12345..." (there is more)
"Xbl|DeviceKey"
Here is a screenshot of what these look like: https://imgur.com/a/U2itDjG

My belief is that this could cause some applications that require your Xbox Live sign in to break or force you to sign in again.
Either way, this is the change that worked for me.
Also FYI, you should be able to sign back into your Xbox Live profile on your PC after this; I don't actually know if you have to sign out, but I recommend it.

Please let me know if this worked for you!
I will probably share the solution in other threads/forums and then reach out to Forza Support to see if they can share it.
Feel free to share this with others and contact Xbox Live or Forza Support on your own as well; communicating with them has been very difficult...
Great, I cannot play the game bc It keeps crashing, I tried everything microsoft suggested and It still crashes. It's funny how you can spend 100$ on a single video game and you still can't play it just because. Fix it asap or I'll simply refund it. I don't really want to be treated like a piece of garbage when I'm buying something..
click on desktop icon instead of steam
It's nice playing the game early, but I was really hoping the G923 would work from the start. Until that patch is out, I'm content with my XOne controller I suppose.
Very cool game, but the optimisation suсks :GDInsane::GDHarder:
