Mine will crash after the game is launched and I click "Start". For some reason I think it might have something to do with the Nvidia driver I installed yesterday...
Anything helped?
my game still crashes with everything up to date, please devs fix this

Forza Horizon 5 not launching on RTX 4060
Hello everyone,
I’m facing an issue with Forza Horizon 5. The game was working fine for months, but recently it stopped launching. I have tried many solutions, but nothing worked. I’m looking for help to fix this problem.

Issue Details:

Whenever I click "Play", the game starts loading, the Forza Horizon 5 logo appears, then a black screen shows for a few seconds, and finally, the game closes itself. I didn’t know what was causing this issue, so I started testing different solutions.

I tried changing the GPU settings in Windows by going to:
Settings > Gaming > Graphics, and I set Forza Horizon 5 to run on GPU 0 (Intel Iris Xe Graphics) instead of RTX 4060.
After that, I launched the game, and surprisingly, it worked but with severe lag and stuttering, which made me realize that the game is no longer able to run on RTX 4060.

Solutions I Have Tried:

1️⃣ Tried modifying the game’s properties:

Enabled compatibility mode for Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Disabled fullscreen optimizations.

Ran the game as an administrator.

2️⃣ Verified the game files via Steam’s "Verify integrity of game files" feature.

3️⃣ Reinstalled everything, including:

The game itself.

GPU drivers.

Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables.

Even reinstalled Windows completely.

Despite all these attempts, the game still doesn’t work. If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it.

Directly AFTER the game crashes, right-click the Windows button and select Event Viewer. Expand the Windows Logs folder, and then check BOTH System and Applications log for errors.

It would be useful to know what it says, for those of us trying to help.
I checked the Event Viewer and found this error:

Faulting application name: ForzaHorizon5.exe, version: 1.678.498.0

Faulting module name: sl.dlss_g.dll, version: 2.0.0.0

Exception code: 0xc0000005

Fault offset: 0x000000000001d3ba

Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ForzaHorizon5\ForzaHorizon5.exe

Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ForzaHorizon5\sl.dlss_g.dll

It looks like the issue is related to the DLSS file (sl.dlss_g.dll). Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this?
0xc0000005 is a Memory access error.

If you've already done all the software troubleshooting (Closing apps, updating drivers, SFC and DISM), then my next step would be to disable XMP/EXPO and run your RAM at default speeds (Through BIOS/UEFI). If that works, slowly take your RAM up in speed until it starts crashing.
