Suddenly cant turn Vsync on

Last time I booted the game up a week ago, Vsync was on. I've gone to boot it up this morning, it "optimised for your PC" out of nowhere, and now there's some absolutely horrible screen tearing, and the Vsync option is completely greyed out. Anyone got any idea what might have caused / what might fix this?

Yep. Still hasn't been fixed for me either. I've also noticed the game has MAJOR issues with graphics now, like I'm seeing extremely low resolution textures and everything too

No prob with textures here (4090 laptop 16GB + NVidia 560.81 GR + i9-13980HX + 32GB DDR5 5600). I have the MS-Store XBox edition.
Is this Vsync thing a "known issue" (didn't play this game for a long time)?

No idea, frankly. It only started after I updated my 40-series drivers and was fine the day before that was done.
And I didn't have issues with the textures at first, but as I've kept playing for the last few weeks they're getting worse and worse. Car models keep getting pixelated outlines too, as if AA isn't working either.

I think it's possible to force VSync editing: %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.624F8B84B80_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Local\User_GamingLocalStorageDirectory\ConnectedStorage\ForzaUserConfigSelections\UserConfigSelections (MS-Store edition)

You can try deleting your "UserConfigSelections" file and see if this resets the textures issue.

Idk if you all found a fix yet. But I found a fix for mine. Go into graphics settings, turned invidia dlss technologies off. And then I could turn vsync on.
