horizon life perma offline

no matter what i do i cant get into the same session with a friend, horizon life is stuck on offline

im having the same issue and it also started around may 9th

when you start the game on the 2nd menu, there is a choice to sign out, try doing that, the game will restart and you will be made to sign in to your account, this fix the problem you are having for me,
My friend also sign out and back in the the xbox app before doing this method and it sorted it out for them. not sure if you need to do that as well.
