Game Crashing Almost Immediately After Passing Start Menu

I've begun having an issue where my game will not load past a few seconds after clicking start game and reaching the first loading screen. I've attempted restarts and verifying the files but still no luck. It also seems to be causing Steam to hard crash as well.

Has anyone else had this issue and may have a solution that doesn't include a full reinstall of the game itself?

i have the same issue and its so annoying and i dont have a clue how this started

I just purchased/downloaded the game and I'm getting the same crashes after start up. I verified files. Didn't help.

I had the same issue. I have tried every method I could find online. Nothing worked. I have asked PG game service, hope they can fix this bug soon. Otherwise we might lose a whole season of new cars.

There is a lot of threads of the issue.
if you start the game, and it crashes. search for "eventlogger" in windows. Go to "windwos-logs" and the "program", then search for "fault" on level and "application error" on source.
Once youve found for Forza, check the excemption code it throws, if it is 0xc0000005, then your in the same boat as me.

also i can recommend that you try to do tese trouble shooting steps to see if it makes any difference.

Sign out of your Microsoft account(gamertag) via Xbox game bar, and Microsoft store
Sign into a new Microsoft account(gamertag) or existing Microsoft account via Xbox game bar and Microsoft store. Then search for credential manager in windows, enter "windows credentials" and then remove all the instances that start with "Xbl".
After youve removed them all, try boot the game on steam, you will now need to sign in with again and this time sign in with the new account you signed in to microsoft store and xbox store with.
If that works then there is something wrong with the linking of your main account, now im bashing the support with this but they are super ♥♥♥♥ at responding. but please try and let me know so we can get some action from them
