Before you play Forza Horizon 5, make sure you have the latest drivers and firmware for your wheel. Your wheel may work great with games that came out 1 or 2 years ago, even Forza games - that doesn't mean it'll work with a new game.

For Logitech users, especially G920 and G29, you have to install the Logitech Software from the website; this is quite important, if you don’t install it, the G920 is picked up as a different vendor product identifier (VIDPID) and its functionality in the game is compromised, both for FFB and for buttons/switches.

response to my ticket: The Forza Support and Safety team assists with in-game issues. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you with this issue since it is not in-game. If you feel you have an in-game issue, please submit a new ticket with the proper ticket form that pertains to your issue.

When I replied that it was happening in game they resent the same message... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol!

The only options that would pertain to this issue are controller issues in the ticket subject dropdown. the only other options are if you're crashing or having issues w/ multiplayer or in game purchases.... ICU PGG.

On the official Forza website is the Thrustmaster t248 a supportet wheel but it always come a message(please reconnect your controller), when i press a button on the wheel

My G29 works great, but I'm not seeing the force feedback options in control setting. How do I fix this?

I have the G920 and anytime you try to correct yourself on any turn you're done for. I then switch to a controller and have zero problems. This is unplayable with this wheel. How is this still a problem? I was really hopeful with this release that it would be rectified because the same issues were present in FH4. But nope, I guess i just spent money on this racing wheel for it to remain a massive dissapointment with my fav racing game. The immersion is just nowhere near what it could be if the wheel worked properly. Does anyone have a wheel that actually works for this game? I don't mean just that it is functional, but that you can actually correct your car and be competitive. Ugh...

I got the same Error with my 923. Haven't found a solution yet -.- Maybe the developer will rename himself as Playground Project Red :-)

It was initially stated that it was xbox only (which is stupid as hell lol) but was later changed on the forza support site. This is apparently a known issue, so us $40 beta testers have to stick it out or consider a refund until it's fixed.

If I had to guess I’d say it is related to the issue that everyone else on pc w/ these peripherals are getting.

Not sure what issue you’re having though but the 458 is supposed to be supported. It sounds like some people on the t300 can use the wheel in game but get no ffb. afaik the 458 doesn’t have a ffb motor no?

basically all steering wheels for pc and consoles have force feedback, it's how it's used by the game and how much can the wheel itself do.
No force feedback on thrustmasters is 99% a bug of FH5, like every other wheel issues so far

it's just that whenever i press something it keeps changing to keyboard, it only happens on FH5, it's constantly changing back to keyboard every 0,2 seconds or so, so it's a pain in the ass.
