FPS capped at 60

My FPS is getting capped at 60 even though I set it to variable.
I have ran the benchmark test , which does solve everything . But the issue arises again after I restart.

What frequency is your screen set to when launching the game? For it to default to 60fps it sounds like you have a 60hz screen? On 144hz it gives options of 144 or 72fps, on 240hz 240/120/60 fps etc.

Settings should save on exit unless the game settings are higher than your screens refresh rate on launch.

20 , 30 , 60 and unlocked

I can't speak for FH5 but in general it's a good idea to cap your frames. You can change your monitor frequency to 144hz prior to launching and 144fps option will def be available and save in-game.

Weird that at 165hz they give you 60 as the last option before unlocked and not at 240hz. Sorry dude honestly didn't know.

NVM , I am an idiot , I did not have my laptop plugged in , I was playing on power saving mode.
