Does the new anti lag actually have a use ingame?

Sure it sounds cool on some cars - though i heavily prefer slower softer bangs (unless rally which still doenst scream and bang loud enough) - buuuut, does it affect the behaviour of the turbos like at all? i never felt any turbolag (except rpm related torque, which also is very subtile) in the game, so does the anti lag change that like at all?

Feels like its purely (audio)visual tbh...

The effect is not that big - and it shouldn't be, since it doesn't increase PI more than a "normal" racing turbo.
However, I have a big old Hummer, maxed out for offroad, and with that one I actually feel the difference in acceleration since I have fitted it with anti lag-turbos.

The main thing im questioning, why turbolag in general is basically not there at all.

Tbh i actually think theres no turbolag at all in this game.

Also the only thing antilag does irl and should do ingame is eliminating turbolag, so when stomping on the pedal and pressure building up, which like said - seems to be not in the game anyways.
