Where exactly is the rally part? All I see are big open roads, reused assets, terrible typical American Reddit or Twitter user dialog and regular cars with stickers presented as rally cars. I played it for 1 hour and deleted it. NEVER again the ultimate edition.

H4 was so much better, original lego expansion and a nice sized island. Now we get a copy and pasted hotwheels dlc and a tiny copy and pasted mini mexico, with some navigator and a terrible chopper flying in your way 24/7.

Absolutely awful, really regret buying this trash.

If you thought FH4 was great, you should try to get your hands on FH3 or earlier. Those games were great, FH4 to FH3 was the same kind of step backwards and downwards in quality that FH5 was to FH4. It's pretty sad how far this franchise has fallen.

I played FH3, and 2, great games imo. 5 is way to samey and lazy copy /pasted.

I don't know, there were things I found better in FH4 and there are things I found better in FH5.

In FH3, the radio hosts were much funnier and better than in all subsequent parts. However, I had quite a few blue screens during long races in FH3. I wasn't a fan of the jungle biome either, I liked the forest biome from FH4 more. I've forgotten the reasons now, except that I liked the forest biome more.

I can't remember much about FH3, I only know that the MP was bugged (sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't) and that I found FH4 better.

But I would be interested in why you find FH3 better than FH4 and FH4 better than FH5. That's not meant to be sarcastic. Maybe it will even get me to install FH3 again.

I can hardly remember anything from FH3 except that the many biomes have dismembered the map too much in my opinion. One or two less biomes and more space for the remaining biomes might have been better.

But honestly, Forza games are like a Mac Donalds menu. In the beginning you can't get enough of it and later you can't see it anymore. Not because it would be bad, but because there is no motivation to play it regularly again.

I'm glad the DLC is getting terrible user reviews, as it should: a "Mostly Negative" on Steam and reduced pre-orders is the only way we'll get these idiots to listen and return to making good content instead of this lazy crap.

Steam needs to no longer allow pre-ordering things that are undisclosed.

tbh, forza really only has good driving physics and graphics. Besides those it's subpar in to every other racer.

(look at the number of players. forget about merely the terrible REVIEWS, go see how many people are playing this nonsense money-grab only three days after release.]

it begets nobody to be as negative as I'm being. but I'm kind of ----ing furious, frankly. they're killing this brand. by even just a casual perusal of the vibes out there about Forza, they really do seem to actually be killing this entire brand on here. at least it's only the biggest digital storefront there is.

hey, on that note, is it WEIRD that Horizon 4 now won't work on STEAM with the new NVIDIA drivers, but *will* [apparently] work on the Microsoft Store?? isn't that a little, I dunno, suspicious? no? oh, okay. good. glad to know I'm just being overly cynical.

Poor guy, always ragging on America. You have O.-C.Disordered thinking about Americans, unable to stop and this isn't an American experience in this game. Oh, the American DIALOG! You little self-superior snowflake.

Reused assets... What the hell does that mean? The map expansion is uniquely new, it's just Mexico which you are tired of. That is why just one hour of playing in this nation-state map again after the game got old and Hot Wheels was flown-in and got old; this 16 months of Forza Horizon 5: Mexico, and in the end you are all pouty about how it's JUST MORE MEXICO. More Mexican tracks and land and buildings. "Assets.' 'Just more of the same..." ....same brown dirty assets I have to plow through. 'Get me a wambalance, somebody.'

Get a new game, Mr. Bentley. It's time. It's time for you.

Do you know what rally and rallycross racing are? What are "regular cars" in the context of it? Answer that before you go. Oh, I can't wait to tell you, dashing young "Mr, Bentley."
There are easily 60-70 rally-ready cars in the Autostore.

Rally racing in the intro you put one hour into before turning it off and deleting the entire game is what you were simulating on a fun light arcadish level. The helper's calls about the changing road conditions you NEED to know about. Yeah, they are a disembodied voice (one woman, or one of two men, depending on your team), calling the road conditions into your headset from a two-way radio (authentic) from a helicopter that is rarely seen. Must they be sitting to your right the whole time?

You are a common snob, going on about how you are fine with sophisticated European FH4 but the Mexican desert canyon and jungle landscape and the screaming Americans ringing in your ears! There are no American characters or dialog, you snobby metrosexual millennial. You actually said yesterday that in 20 years AI robots will replace the 340 million Americans in my land and they they will produce the awful entertainment culture we have. Go back to your youtube influencing. I am glad you are out.

Why not an expansion for a completely new "untamed" area with the same idea of teams, but in dirt/road/street racing? To keep the spirit of horizon? That way you could've at least garnered attention from a broader spectrum of players, but instead they've chosen to focus on rally... with barely any rally legend cars for that matter.

The "expansion" is laughable - the map is ridiculously small, the events are minimal, the new cars are barely related to the rally legacy and the map looks like the same old mexico. I paid for the ultimate version and I feel duped, this is the last forza game I'm buying solely for the fact that there's barely any effort put into it (which could've been seen from the launch of the game).

Same, I loved H3 and 4, but 5 was just to much of the same. Same lack of progression, same cars at launch, same graphics, same hot wheels, and now a mini mexico aka same. It's so soulless. FH4 was leagues better. I think they're to busy with their fable which will flop, because well, it's xbox, nobody has an xbox console for a reason, they don't make good games.

He is high or something. Like I would like an actual rally expansion, I mean it is on the lowest part of my wish list but still. A proper rally, small roads, thick mud, trees and all. Like a real rally. Not this asphalt and wide open off-road bs. Nobody likes that. Especially cross country races, god-awful. But the flying looks cool for kids. The game is sadly 100% made for 10 year olds and younger now.

Honestly, xbox is killing every studio they've got. Look what they did to Halo. 343 messed that up so many times and yet Xbox allows them to create more e-waste. And besides Halo xbox has, well nothing really, a dollar store GT7 -- motorsport and horizon which was their only decent original ip. And with the start of 5, I noticed how they got lazy. Prolly spreading their workforce thin on fable etc. Trying to compete with Sony. Which is a joke, not in a million years, not even with activision can Xbox compete with Sony. The system itself is so bad. I know, I have both. But the games from Sony are also just lightyears ahead. I hope Sony makes an open-world spinoff on GT. Because we can't rely on the Forza team anymore.

Worst thing is, with the new engine and stuff, it's gonna takes AGES before we see a new Horizon game.

Thanks for being embarassed for PGG op. They sure don't seem to be especially when the expansion is sre mid and the car selection pretty bad but it comes with a great series and even greater additions for free for allplayers.

goes well with the base game and the last expansion, probably the worst Horizon game and def the worst of the last 3, way worse. 3 and 4 were peak racing games.

Pretty sure the management bullied the devs into doing bare minimum and ignored all their ideas.
