Buy the big BS edition or youll feel like you're missing half the cars.
That said Forza does everything else better. Physics, car collection, visuals. It's a much better openworld car game imo.
Forza have done a really good job with the car handling/physics.
should I have pre-qualified my comment "in the context of computer games"?
My bad.
Go play F1 simulator if you want realism and also get bored very very fast with very very fast cars.
Interestingly enough, it reminds me of POD, which is completely different in theme but its execution is quite similar.
As a fun racer, this checks a lot of boxes.
Graphically is gorgeous too.
Best physics you can find in arcade racer. If you can pull it off in real car, it will work in Forza pretty much same way.
Crazy number and diversity of cars, not just normal sport and supercars, but also things like pre-WW2 track racers, vans, pickups, trophy trucks, even a freaking Warthog from Halo.
Pretty complex upgrade/tunning system to play with, which you can even ignore if you want to, and download tunnings of other players.
In SP AI will adjust their cars to match ewhat you're driving, so upgrading cars is optional
There are issues with game, which might be be non-issue depending how important those things are for you:
Primitive AI that just follows driveline and rubbebands around player.
Balance in MP is kinda trash. There's clear meta to follow if you want to win races.
There's no SP campaign to speak off. It's just races, and even "stories" are just custom races with cringe cutscenes.
Ah yeah, the cringe. Boring dialogues and fake hype overload makes you want to punch screen, because cutscenes are unskippable
