Forza Horizon 6
So I've been seeing some videos that are saying it's very likely fh6 will be released this year due to several factors. First we're coming up on the last season that fh4 had, before they announced fh5. Horizon backstage also came into fh4 a few months before fh5 announcement. Seems that fh5 is at the end of it's new seasons and we're about to start randomly rotating seasons now. Another reason that it's rumored that it will be released next year is because GTA6 is releasing this fall, an incredibly anticipated game. I've heard that fh6 will most likely be based in Japan, though I have also heard Germany, but I don't think this is very likely as we already have the U.K. in fh4. I am really excited for fh6 and can't wait for it to be announced.

I sure hope so. This is an easy win. Forza Horizon 5 is still the best racing game of the modern era to date. Need For Speed went down the toilet with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was NFS: Unbound. Assetto Corsa? What's that? Gran Turismo 7? Not on PC. So... there is almost no competition here.
It will probably be announced at the Xbox Games Showcase in June for a November release as usual.

I'll admit I am not particularly looking forward to it....I loved FH4 (with the seasons and it's amazing map) and really looked forward to FH5 and then was massively disappointed (pretty much no seasons beyond a bit of rain occasionally, bland map). I still play it but only because a group of us play which makes it fun rather than the game itself. I'll play FH6 as I have Game Pass but I have no anticipation or excitement about it

NFS went down the toilet after Underground 2.

As far as FH6, I don't have high hopes at all. If it follows the recent trends in the gaming industry it will be TAA slop up-scaled from 640x480 resolution running at 30fps on top end hardware. All the colours will be sepia tone. The menus system will be even more unfathomable. The social features will be even more non-existant. The weekly events will be more grindy. And all the characters will have man-chin.

And that's assuming it's not free to play.

Hotpursuit remake in 2012 was nice (gameplay) but content was bad (EA).
You are late to the "industry is going bad", it started 15 years ago...

PGG need to release Fable, than we can talk about next Horizon game, so my guess is November 2026

They're in completely different categories, that would be like EA saying "We're not going to release that Black Panther game because we've got EA FC 26 coming out."
It'll be 4 years since FH5 came out, that's the longest gap in the series.

Same I love fh4 it has so much more than fh5. Fh5 is just really empty and it's like they didn't finish a lot. I do have some hope that they will do better in fh6, (especially if it's going to be based in Japan), but they're going to have to work on physics, gameplay, etc. Fh5 is fun and all when you play with friends, but it just gets kinda boring if you play by yourself because the map is just empty. They did a good job on graphics but it's like that was the only thing they were focused on. Hope they do better for the next title and don't make a bunch of stupid car packs that nobody buys cus it's a scam.

Especially if it's going to be based in Japan. You can't have Japan's car scene with FH4/5's drifting physics.
need to add super7 high stakes eventlab or els
Hyped for 6 hopefully your progress carries over like it did from 4-5. Japan sounds awesome to me : >

Some were definitely better than others. But NFS 2015 (which is the closest to Underground 3 that we'll ever get) showed real promise. That was a gorgeous game that unfortunately was just too light on the actual content. Had they done another release like that and expanded it to be more like the Underground 3 that we all imagined, then the NFS franchise would still be at the top. Unfortunately, it went into the bonkers direction with Unbound. Cartoony aminations in a NFS game? As if it wasn't already arcadey enough. NFS Heat was decent, but the car selection was the same ♥♥♥♥ that we've all seen 100x over. The pursuits were decent. But NFS Unbound is easily the worst NFS of all time. The fans were told that there would be an option to turn the cartoony graphics and effects off and... there wasn't. It just looks like ♥♥♥♥ having 2D animations erupting around your car all the time, like wtf.
I'm going to make another quick note here, the NFS Unbound theme song is "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me" Yeah, that was exactly my reaction to playing that game. Gotta be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me.

NFS'15's problem was not the lack of content, it was its handling and the janky physics that seemingly had a mind of their own.
I replayed NFS'15 recently-ish (over a year ago) using a handling mode and honestly, that made the game so much better and actually worth recommending.
I can't wait. If they do start randomly picking old seasons on FH5, I would love that since I joined the game about 6 months ago and need some of the cars that I can only get through the old challenges. Very pumped for FH6, the map for Japan, if it is Japan, looks amazing.
