Who's a Snipe.
Recently, I have found 'Alot' of youtube sites about how to snipe in the Auction. It seems there are apps that helps others to buy/bid faster on the Auction. It would seem that there are folks that spend alot of time buying cars and selling cars way higher than normal. Having a little pocket change is fine. But in today's gaming it seems it's all about the Credits/Bonus etc. etc. and not actually about the playing the game. I need cars to drive. But I'm not wanting to be a Car Dealer. How much Credits does one person need. If you own ALL cars in the game and you have figure out a way to get around the system. Why are you here, really? Some gamer's of today, it's really all about the mods. Where is the challenge of figuring out what the story is, if you have already figured out how to walk on water and walk through the walls and beat what was generated in the first place. I love the joy of driving. This game offers this. But some have made a profit of taking all that away by getting something in a sneaky way of making others follow suit to just keep up. It just reminds me of a time in my Life where certain folks I would write a speeding ticket for, because somewhere along the way they figured out a way of "beating the system". People still haven't learned this, because many still speed. I just would like things to get back to the Vanilla State. I don't need nor do I want it "all" NOW. Please stop making what started out as normal and making it hard for others because of your greed. Ok, I feel better now that I vented.

Different people are entertained by different things I suppose. Some will spend their gaming session in the Auction House, others in the Livery Editor or some looking for game exploits.

Just do whatever you find the most entertaining. I've bought from the AH once and that was me being stupid and deleting an exclusive car. It's not compulsory for progression. Wheelspins are more than enough to carry you through the game and they drop from everywhere with 'normal' driving, racing, etc.

People will do what people do dude, don't let it get to you.
Im not letting it. I just hate to see others taking advantage of the situation. I try every way to share with others. I bever. Never likebeing the underdog. I also dont like it when others feel they can cut the line so to speak. There was a time in my life I struggled. It was kind prople, s few if them. That said hey you are doing it wrong. Try this. That is all I am saying here. Please no take offence to this. I just want folks to have a fair chance. Thank you for your input.
Folks can I add something else to this story. If you have over 5 Million credits. How about gifting some of your winning cars to New Players or even Returning Players. I know all to well it's frustrating in some games when you can't get the hang of how things works or even progress through the levels. And when you get a free car. Man it just makes things right as rain again. I will assure you. You won't miss that extra 50 to 100 k credit. And you will really be helping your fellow gamer too. Who knows that same gamer could be your best friend later on when you are driving.
I started playing last year, and thanks to sniping, I got cars I wouldn't have any other way to get... Like the Mini FE, Ford Wagon, MG7, Ford GT LeMans, etc.

With many cars you have to wait too long for them to appear and when they do, you have to be extremely fast to get them... It's not easy.

Your problem is with the Gatekeepers, a type of toxic player who wants to keep rare cars just for themselves and always does their best to prevent others from getting them... For example, they vote for the bad side in Backstage.

This is brilliant. This is a perfect description about The Eliminator mode also.

Same Here, I missed the first year or so of the game, so I had to snipe a lot of cars to get caught up. I have every car except for a single one. And you are totally right about the Gatekeepers as well.
I have been playing this for over a year. Ar times I buy more on Auction than I sell. I have built up my levwls without all this Sniping stuff. At this point. I own every car in the game that Auto Show sales. This sniping stuff seems a bit much to me is all. There were times I want certain cars. But some had it so far jacked up, that only a ver small number of players in the game could afford it. It dont have to be like this.

The Auction House is what is it is. There's nothing you can do about what people are setting their buyouts at, other than ignore them if they're outside your price range. And as for getting sniped out of an auction... well, screw bidding and do the buyout if you can.

Also, the way this game hands out wheelspins and superwheelspins, I find it hard to believe the auction house is that inaffordable unless you have that long a list of cars you can't acquire otherwise (I though that backstage thing is supposed to help)

More importantly R.I.P. the ability to sell your tune setups and paint designs, and basically have a marketplace and behind-the-scenes income, in game... dead since Forza Motorsport 4 afaik.
You can't "snipe" auctions in FH5 the way you could in FH4. Let it get to 1min remaining and every time someone bids the "1min" timer resets. Also with the way max pricing is based upon when the last car of that type sold and what it sold for you simply won't find many of the truly rare cars on the auction house. I've got three Terminators bought when they first were awarded, but can't sell them because the max price is 5 mil.
