Is online no longer functional?

I just got the game during the spring sale, 3 hours in and I still can't access online play. I can't join my friends convoy and I can't access auction house nor vouchers that I also bought via the starter pack. Everything says feature locked or servers unavailable. Its been like this the whole time. Is the game broken or is the "tutorial" way longer than it used to be when the game first came out?

The game is broken, there are 2 possible fixes depending on which version of this issue you have.
1. Your xbox profile is too locked down, the devs don`t like it when they don`t have access to everything and lock you out of online.
2. You need to buy a house in Mexico and make it your home, then restart the game.
Both these issues are from release and not likely to be fixed anytime soon but the work arounds usually sort it.

does the house you get from the introduction/tutorial not count? My xbox account is linked properly and everything looks public as far as I can tell so I don't believe that is the issue

I had to get a second house and set it to home before online worked.

nope, I bought a new home, set it as my home base and restarted my game. Still same issues. appreciate the suggestions though

i thought its because im from secret country but actually no. just god selected us and restricted access to people in online mode. sorry for my BAD AGRHHHH language. i think U understood me <З

I had some issue today too. I was trying to set up a club from Forza. And it kept stated there was an error with the servers, try again. Microsoft is really bad about pulling plug on something when it's running well. Now there is talk I see of FH6. Hmm. Why not just repair or replace the issues in 5. For the most part it's running ok.

clubs don't work on PC

I had this happen a few times in FH4, what worked for me was to log out of my xboxlive account when on the games launch screen. The game may restart after this, after the restart log back in to the account.

Can't guarantee it'll work here because I haven't had any online issues with FH5, but that's what worked for me in the last game.

I did find a way to join one - find a player in the player browser, I did this on Rivals leaderboards, then you have a context option to join the club.

Those features don't work either, grayed out. And the custom liveries/tunes just don't load. I had waited for about 10 minutes and nothing.

that definitely means you blocked from the server. I think you already tried to log out in the game menu after loading screen.
