WRONG, cheat engine must be running and be HOOKED into the game, since it does NOT have a Outside running anti cheat!
To Dible: have you bought any cars recently from the market place?
In some rare cases you can buy cars that are not released yet and modders sell them in the auction house, if you BUY a modded car you can get banned. Absolutley dumb IMO
It's also issue with WeMod, you close it, but by default settings instead it minimizes self to tray, and can be still detected by anti-cheat software.
With software like this, I would not trust anything short of killing process via task manager.
Or you just got reported, they don`t and I suspect can`t check to see if you are modding or cheating so they issue the warning...ask the vinyl creators why almost all of them have stopped making them over THAT little issue.
What part of the game made you think you were dealing with a competent developer?
If that were the case, people could get unobtainable cars and gift them to unaware players (new players), leading to them getting banned.
Also, there's this post on reddit, and one of the comments says that buying an unreleased car (or getting one gifted to you) will not lead to you getting banned.
