New Discord Overlay/Update..

Game wouldn't get past it's intro before it would just close. No crash message or anything like that..just straight back to desktop. I noticed Discord updated and added some new overlay and/or features for it, so I turned that off, and now it's starting up fine again. Just thought I'd share that incase anyone else encounters that issue if they try to launch and that happens while their updated Discord is running. Others may not have this problem, but still worth mentioning to others just in case. :)

Forzathon shop not working properly.

Purchases seem to load for an eternity and they won´t be delivered instantly.

For me it looks like new series failed to launch. Online works, but nothing related to playlist.

I think there are a few issues with the backend - Rivals not always working, got the Fallback season when I logged in, then it was fine next login, and this as well. I logged a ticket, for what it's worth

Hey Babaganoosh, we're investigating reports of delays/connectivity errors when trying to load the Festival Playlist, Auction House, Tunes search, and other online features. For now and for others, as Babaganoosh mentioned please try completely exiting the game and disabling the new Discord overlay, then restarting the game and seeing if the problem persists.

So rivals in the monthly challenge fail to load and also all the user created tunes will not load. What the F went wrong with this game?!

The servers are struggling. they are on and off. T_T
Since they announced their will to go PS5 the weekly event turned sour. I don't know what they are trying to do in the backend, but it is our rear-end that feels it....

It's got nothing to do with Discord. I don't even have it installed but I've had two instances in the last couple of days of the Festival Playlist and auction house not being available when I loaded. Both times, exiting the game and reloading did the trick.

Yesterday, I had a burst of sudden, random crashes to desktop just after going into free roam. Races were not affected. Today, played for an hour with no crashes.

Normally, Forza 5 runs very reliably for me.

Sorry, but it looks like you merged unrelated questions. I was originally going to reply to NS4NE's thread, but it got merged into this thread. I'm not experiencing a crash, just a simple online service connection error.
