Online is still busted, huh?

Came back to the game after a year or so and I see that getting a convoy going is still terrible, arguably worse than when I last played.
Instead of having to avoid using Forza's own invite/convoy feature, using Xbox's invite feature, and waiting 20 seconds for it to actually go through.
Its now all of the above with the addition of my friend having to host the convoy and then pass lead off to me because his game will just crash if he accepts an invite.

Years after release and the game's own convoy system is still unusable? Players still not only have to resort to Xbox's, but they have to do workarounds on top of it?

I also crash very often when i join xbox friends.
Seems this happens only to Steam players...

Sometimes have to wait 2 or 3 min before the game just start to look for a lobby...
Can't disable collision (detection works bad).
3 races championship and having to wait 2 min between each race is annoying.
We should be able to just join a lobby and do race after race with less than 1 min in between, and you can change car during if you want...

Its winter season so the network may be weak this time of the year due to the weather. This also happens to me with other games, especially when its raining. You can try restarting the router. Also more internet traffic bc of the holidays

Plenty of people playing online. Takes me 30 secs to find a race.

What's your experience with the convoy feature and setting those up?

Each week I'm playing with 5 more peoples in the seasonal events. And there is no any problems with joining to the convoy at all regardless on who the leader is. Once in a while someone could be disconnected from the game completely, so we had to restart the championship, but that's pretty rare.

I have no issues on the multiplayer overall, but haven't been able to get convoy working once. I've been invited into it many times but when I click the "join" button it automatically cancels instead of joining. Tried the "cancel" button as well, incase they were switched for some reason, but it'll just cancel like you'd expect. All those "drive in a convoy" tasks and perks are absolutely not achievable for me because of this. I've tried both keyboard and controller.

Edit. I have to also say for me it isn't such a big deal in the end, definitely not worth the hassle of making a ticket. Because every time I've so far made a ticket I get the same trouble-shooting starting from reinstalling the game, resetting my router (which is a real pain because then I have tweak every security setting again, connect all my devices etc.), reinstalling drivers and so on. It's just way too much work for me.
