Map Keeps Opening + No Sound

Sometimes, while I'm playing, the full-screen map opens by itself, and when I close it, it immediately reopens. At the same time, I lose all in-game sound (though sound on my computer works fine). I have to exit and reload the game to fix it. Has anyone else experienced this?

If those issues are related, it probably wont be the case, but you could try cleaning your controller or keyboard, specifically the button or key that opens the map. The button may be sticking and causing the map to open when the button sticks, which would be why it opens again right away.

Game has lost focus. I get this if the mouse goes to my other screen sometimes.

Happened to me twice, my guess is game doesn't like being minimized. I think I "fixed" this by manually selecting game window when alt-tab'ing, instead of letting it force its way on top

I don't think it's a key being stuck because restarting the game fixes it (yet I haven't pressed the keys to "unstick them"). If the game lost focus, wouldn't it minimise back to Desktop? or change to windowed mode? it's on full screen mode all the time. I don't minimise the game when I play myself but it's worth alt+tabbing next time this happens and maybe even to minimise to desktop then back into game just to see if it clears it. Thanks

This is the exact description of game loosing focus. I have a second screen and this happening if I click there while playing.

It sounds like some background app on your PC for some reason focuses the system on itself. You should investigate in this direction.

This makes more sense than my initial thought. If you have other programs running in the background, they may start to do something and take focus. I had a situation where a program I was using a long time ago would send a notification and take focus to get me to see that notification. However, it wouldnt actually bring the program to the top if I was playing a game in fullscreen, so I would just lose control in the game for no apparent reason. I had forgotten about it because it was so long ago.

Ok, I will investigate another app taking focusing. This does not happen very often but is annoying when it does. Thanks all
