make a car brake better?
is there a way i can make my mazda RX7 not lock up while braking. like whenever i brake it loses all momentum and i cant steer to a corner

You could try lowering the braking force pressure to below 100%, maybe around 97-99%.

The brakes on your car are not too weak, they are the opposite. If you are playing with a controller or some other way to modulate your brake input, brake less. Otherwise, lower your brake pressure for the car in tuning.

In the settings, under Difficulty, you have an option to enable anti-lock (i.e. some form of ABS) while braking, which means that you will be able to steer a bit the car while you're braking. Not enabling this can indeed make the driving experience in this game a bit worse, but it won't make miracles. You also need to learn that different cars will drift more than others when you're braking. Braking actually can make the cars turn more, but you can completely lose the control of the car if you do it at very high speeds or you brake too much. So, you need to learn to control these things to enjoy the game.
