Add a new audio slider for the Helicopter of that Rally DLC. Please this is unacceptable.

It seriously isn't fun to play with that permanent noise in the background.

The only workaround currently is setting the SFX slider to 0, but then i can't hear normal noises and the other cars engines of players and AI anymore. Only the own car engine and tires.

I mean who thought this is a good idea to force ppl to hear that noise, why do that?

My biggest gripe regarding the heli is actually not the noise that most people complaint about but the dusts it blew block my visual made me impossible to see the path before me beyond 10-15 meters and also hide incoming vehicles until it is too late to do anyting but hit it head on.

It is annoying, it provides a spot light for some rally tracks, but the noise is a bit much.

I turned off pace notes, pace hud signs or whatever they are called and activated that blue line like for every other race. I mean there is no need for that helicopter if i just play it like "regular" horizon.

I got all drive helpers off like tcs and stuff and drive with manual transmission but without clutch, but i keep the line activated. It's just much more relaxing than having to look at minimap nonstop or listening to these annoying pace notes.

So to me that helicopter is just an visual and audio distraction. I just want to be able to completly turn it off or at least mute the helicopter.

This 100%. The DLC clearly wasn't ever play-tested as the chopper is super obnoxious after just the first minute. You can barely hear your own car or the music and you can't see ♥♥♥♥ in most races because the chopper kicks up dust/blinds you with the spotlight. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ braindead design.

Turn down the air particle effects (graphics), turn down SFX (special effects, audio) and FFE (low frequency settings, audio), and turn off both the call notes and the caller's voice.

Turn up any audio setting (like the engine!) that you do enjoy.

Yes, but the complainers need help, so I gave it to them. If they do these things the sound of the chopper and the HORRIBLE DUST :D would thin out and the co-driver (that distracting pest in the helicopter) would disappear *poof*.

They have alot to look at and the helicopter does briefly sweep about here and there in the rally races and time trials. If you aren't digging the increased visual stress [in] driving their super-curvy rally and rallycross roads then the helicopter coming and going you will not dig either. I can't tell them how to dim the picture of just that one thing, the helicopter, and I can't make it an electric one. Elsewhere someone was saying that politically correct and woke P.G. didn't make the helicopter electric.

Both the noise and the fact that the helicopter can be seen is annoying. It's like they added that only to annoy ppl on purpose, they could have also put a guy with a megaphone on the passenger seat that yells unmutable pace notes into the game. It would have the same annoying effect.

In Forza Horizon 3 the Blizzard Mountain was so awesome, that "new land" DLC in FH4 was already bad compared to Blizzard Mountain. In the FH5 Rally DLC i actually like the map itself but the helicopter ruins it all.

I didn't play the LEGO DLC in FH4 or the second Hot Wheels DLC in FH5, i only played the first Hot Wheels DLC in FH3.

The Horizon games are getting waaaaaay too childish. It's like it's made for ppl with attention disorders like ADHS or ADS or whatever it's called.

Yeah sure the games are kid friendly too because it's rated PEGI3, but that doesn't mean they have to make the games completly silly and intrusive with childish noises and effects all in the faces of us players.

I am happy when Forza Motorsport Reboot gets released i hope that is made for at least 13 year olds and not kids.

I tried playing that Asetto Corsa or whatever it's called but it wasn't my thing. I like the way the cars handle in both FM and FH but the gameplay seems to get worse with every new game.

And worse they are government helicopters and the pace notes are voices in your head telling you to do bad things. Sure you COULD silence them in your sound processing center, but is the risk worth it!? Anyway, the feds have just dropped the black color paint scheme. It was to the point that even precious vulnerable children were catching on.

Remember the "only workaround" to "fun" sound is to slide the SFX down to zero. Zero. The thread's originator is perhaps overly sensitive to the "childish" helicopter and it's low low frequencies now "forced" on him.
