Crashing to Desktop.

Hello, i bought the Game Yesterday and already had 3 Crashes to Desktop. Running it with a 4070 a 5800x3d and 32gb Ram with FG evrything maxed out in 1440p. Its the only Game that had Crashes.

I'd check your logs and see if it's driver specific or if something is causing it.

If you have everything up to date ( drivers, firmware, etc ) i'd look for conflicing software.

Try disabling RGB software and see what that gives, AV software also causes a lot of issues and I've discovered Razer products and the Synapse driver to also be huge pain in the butt.

Tho razer bugs don't crash to desktop but freeze your whole pc.

Thank you very Much! I tried turning of FG, but still had a Crash after 4 Hours. Seems like a lot of People having Problems. The only Game that does that on my End.

Just my two cents, i bought the game recently and have experienced crashes with my setup (AMD Ryzen 7 5700X + RTX3060ti + 32Go of RAM DDR4 at 3200MHz), playing at 1440p.

I tried everything as the game set my settings to extreme at the beginning:
I set it down to high,
deactivate steam overlay, nvidia overlay and msi afterburner,
updated my gpu drivers,
launching the game in admin mode,
made the game file an exception to real time protection in windows defender,
set up my graphic card to high performance...

Well, nothing helped.

I did a memTest not too long ago and it's the only game crashing in my rig so after trying all this I just reactivated MSI afterburner so my graphic card is not blowing full speed

Considering MSI, I just did a little undervolt with an overclock to the memory speed, the card is even more stable on 3Dmark with my settings, not hitting power limit or voltage limit.
I play a lot of games with this profile and everything's fine, tried forza with stock parameters and MSI deactivated and it crashed anyway so..

It just crashes.

yeah its the game itself... whatever those who suggested, i don't bother trying much as i know it will not help at all. The Devs are the one have to fix the issues.

Sounds likes you had exact same problem as I did faced. Here the topic that helps me fixed the game but keep away from the Barn finds! https://learn.microsoft.com/en-US/troubleshoot/windows-server/deployment/fix-windows-update-errors#solution-1-use-dism and also before launch validate the game, step 1 Runs CMD as Admin copy the line 1. (DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth) then do this 2 (DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess) and then I did Validate. If you're on a win 11 in networks setting - advanced public networks setting check in there if it is config correctly

Devs not gonna fix this. Probably you have some sort of program or multiple programs who interact with your game and the game is crashing. It's can be a Lighting program for your RGB if you have it or can be weemod or cheat engine or some other program. I'm not sure for 100% that is YOUR problem, but it can be for 80%. I hade problems too with this game, but once I solved my problems with this particular game, I don't have any problem at all with it now. So, I'm sure that you can solved it. I tryed many things, all updated, reinstalled the game and drivers many times, done so many things, but my problem was with anti-virus, so once I solved my problem, the game is running well!

me too man, i always seem to buy/install games and then a day or two after they have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ update, i did find that running the game as admin works

Crashes

Crash - Crashes during free roam, tuning cars, applying upgrades due to memory issue causing loss of tunes, cars, or upgrades (3143136)
Crash - Game may crash on launch for some players. Please see support article "My Game is Not Launching or is Crashing on PC"
Crash - PC - Some players are crashing on launch with no error message at startup after series 14 update (3874530) (Date Updated: 11.22.22)
Crash - PC - Some players may crash or experience performance issues when using third party overlay tools or monitoring tools. (Please see our article on Troubleshooting Crash issues for more information.)

These are the known Issues. Hope they Fix it soon.

Уже 3 месяца не могу поиграть, вылетает при нажатие Enter , на рабочий стол без ошибок, ноут тоже из последних на RTX и i7, писал разработчикам и майкрософт им пофиг. Ничего за 3 месяца не исправили

Same here. 5900X, 4070TI, 32 GB RAM. It started after today's update. Crashed 3 times. 2 after the "optimising for your PC", helluva job it did, and then once after I somehow managed to get in game to the playlist menu. I didn't try again, cuz it crashes my entire PC, no just CTD.

I fixed most of my crashing lowering the quality of the games textures and geometry to ultra instead of extreme

And you better put a limit to your FPS, you can do it with your Nvidia settings if you have Nvidia. My is lock on 120.
