I'm running the game from a fast m2 ssd, but since the last update the loading time for each race is way longer than before.
That and stutters in the moving background and in some menu's.
Loading car pictures in the Tunes and Market screens takes longer too.
I have a feeling it is caused because some new implemented anti cheat or some background checking or something.
I'm not but lowering graphical settings does not make a difference.
Hopefully the devs can fix it.
It's worth to notice, "normal" is still much longer than it used to be. For first few months, you'd only see loading cutscene (you know, stage and yelling) in MP, because in SP game would finish loading race before loading screen was in full view. Of course, PG didn't specify what "improvement" made loading times several times longer than they used to be.
But ye, loading times and stutters in the mene have increased.
I wonder, do they ever test out their public builds in private before releasing it to the public?
