GTX performance

How will the game run and look on gtx cards such as the 1060 6gb or 1660? I feel that some features shown will only be available on high - ultra graphics settings.

would be also intresting, since Forza 4 worked on Ultra with 60 fps perfect with my gtx 1060 6gb

It's the same engine and graphics as Horizon 4, you will be fine on ultra 60 fps in FHD.

Bruh just dun expect too much from your 10 series card. It a next gen game with ray tracing I guess . Worst case scenario you should be glad you get to run this game with your 10 series. I suggest you change your card lol

1660 should run this game fine, its just an better 980ti. Mine survived running flight sim at max settings lol. the 1060 6gb might run this game at 40fps at high settings i bet

i had a 3gb 1060 and FH4 ran ok i think FH5 will run good on low

It's not the same engine lmao, it's been built for next gen, specifically Xbox Series X, so expect much higher system requirements this time.

Homie, half of us aren't entitled enough to buy a 30 series gpu or series X with how the world is right now. I'm just trying to game with what I have so I don't have to spend absurd amounts on a new PC / console.

yeah true even my friends were shaking the head when i told them that you need to spend 1000€ for a new good graphics card. add 2k and you can get a good car or add 500 and you have all inclusive holiday for 2 people :D also dont support the scammers who just want to milk you because normal shops dont have the supply.
But if this game works for xbox one the 1060 should be enough. I have a pair of them in my two pcs and everything works on 1080p on highest detail but you need to turn AA down. Thats the only issue there isnt a good processor in the card even tho the memory stands

they've improved performance from horizon 3 to 4, so I hope they attempt the same with horizon 5

it's nearly impossible to get new gpu nowadays tbh, everything sold out in a span of 5 minutes here, even getting xbox console sounds more reasonable than current gpu situation
and not that viable if you're still on 1080p
so yeah, buy on release and test yourself, refund if performance is ♥♥♥♥
also hoping this time impulse triggers going to actually work on steam version, unlike fh4 which isn't fixed and probably never gonna be lol

I've noticed this too . GPU prices are gouged ! Impulse triggers - skipped the last one because of this .

The world is a vampire now , and unless you're in the elite ruling class you're bit .

World was always like this but people were not so fragile and not as dumb and brainwashed by internet as now :D
So yeah i want to play this game too on good graphics but if it not happen like i would still be on 1060 i dont give a ♥♥♥♥♥. I just play it whatever or find new hobby not included PC.

see, gpu was always not that cheap, but not anywhere as bad as current situation
i'm on 1660 too (somehow grabbed it in october after selling off my ps4 pro, before mining boom happened and now i can sell my secondhand 1660 for 2x times more than i bought new one back then lmao) and even if you have to disable some features and tone down some settings in fh5, assuming optimization is good and not fh3 release levels of nightmare, then we're good
also own fh3, but half of the time i try to play it, i got bug with dual screen setup (just having tv + monitor connected is enough) and locked into 20 fps no matter what settings i pick
