FH5 has better driving mechanics, but I prefer the world of FH4 with it's proper rotating seasons

I'll say all Horizon games are good, but I'll say that FH4 was the weakest of the bunch, FH3 was one of the peak points of the franchise and FH5 has the best map.

Never got to play Horizon 1 so don't really know where i'd put it. but if I had to rank them personally of the ones i've played then 3 is easily the peak. 2 and 5 are fairly equal imo and 4 is the weakest of the bunch, seasons made the game worse and the relatively bland one note biome that is the English countryside didn't make for a particularly memorable nor interesting map. It also had, in my opinion the weakest of the DLC expansions.

Never played 3 and I briefly played 4 when I had gamepass.

2 was pretty good. I liked the map but I didn't love it.

1 still has the best soundtrack in my opinion but it's quite dated in terms of physics and especially graphics.

5 has probably the best driving experience and graphics are good. The map is decent but I'm not crazy for it.

Again, never played 3 but from what I've seen, the map looks pretty cool and I do wish to go back and try that at some point.

I've been playing FH since FH1. Been playing the Forza series since FM1 on the original Xbox.

The best FH? 5. (DeLorean, Features, Content, best visuals, Hotwheels DLC)

My favourite FH? 3. (music, setting, atmosphere, car meets, Hotwheels DLC)

My personal FH ranking? 5, 3, 2, 4, 1.

They're all great games but 4 just never really gelled with me. The idea of seasons was pretty cool, but I think the DLC was a huge let down for the game and the Lego license wasn't really used to it's full potential.
I personally preferred FH1 and it's DLC. The only reason why I didn't rank 1 higher than 4 is that 1 doesn't feature car tuning (which baffles me to this day).
