Good for you. I'm happy for you, but your anectdotal experience is irrelevent, given the massive amount of bugs, glitches, lack of features, etc. These forums are full of posts about most all of them.
I've had virtually zero crashing problems since before release, until the Hot Wheels expansion brought a constant crash when traveling to the map. And that has been fixed, at least on my end.
I am not saying you aren't experiencing problems. It's just that everyone's experience is different, depending on your system and where you play the game. People can argue all they want, but the Windows App version of this game is - for better or for worse- superior to the Steam version. If you buy it here, you might be subject to a lot of problems that the game was known for back in FH3 and FM7 for Windows. Problems that were fixed in that platform. Remember that the Steam version is ported by a third party studio.
And comparing a 10 year-old modded game that is a completely different genre, does not work man. Just saying. If you like GTA, keep playing that. A game like Forza is for a different kind of audience.
Direct comparison as an "Open World" Driving Simulation. - FH5 has terrible wheel support, the physics/dynamics are unrealistic, & the PC version of this game is massively, absurdly buggy. Wheel support is not at all great, the clutch is useless/pointless, handbrake completely kills throttle input, etc, etc, etc. You can quickly and easily search Reddit for all kinds of posts about it or YouTube for all kinds of videos about it... I have multiple rigs, both desktop and laptop and this game has horrible graphics optimization on ALL of them... even the one with a 3090 ti and 64GB of RAM. There's absolutely no reason why it should run less well on such a system than FH4 does. NO - OTHER - GAMES ... NONE! - Not a single other game has any issues, whatsoever. Only this one. The "Pop-in" is always EXTREMELY!! annoying and noticeable on a 144hz 4k monitor.
I was thinking that about your username...
Sure because yours is so well thought... note that I attacked your opinion not your uysername or you personally.
Like GTA 5 better? Play GTA 5, noone gives a damn.
Because, its a NEW!!! *&^%!! GAME!! - Less than a year old that performs worse than it's own older variants and a game that is over TEN YEARS OLD!! - What are you not getting??
Even more things I've noticed:
The clutch is FULLY functional and required. Unlike FH5, you actually have to use the clutch, realistically to shift gears or risk damaging the car... - The gears grind like hell if you throw the car in gear without the clutch or mis-shift... - FH5 has no such things. NOTHING like it. They can't even properly implement a handbrake. - Turn Manual/Clutch control ON and the throttle gets completely turned off when using the handbrake. If you keep responding, I'm just going to keep on listing out all of these features that this 10+ year old game has that FH5 does not... PATHETIC!
NOT when GTA-V is fully modded and updated... It far surpasses FH5 as an open-world driver.
Does not change anything, GTA 5 with a 1000 m,ods is still GTA 5 aka not a racing game.
I play Spider-man these days, should I also compare it to FH5?Open world is just a feature, not the game genre.
If you want to be childish and off-topic, SURE! Compare away... I have repeatedly stated that I am comparing FH5 to GTA-V as an "Open-World Driving Simulator... REPEATEDLY... but, you keep going off the rails with silly BS. OOOooookay.
