Q1) I would personally do Full replacement.
Q2) I don't have many mp3 files anymore personally, I can't seen many people with them since spotify and YT is so popular.
looking forward to progress on this!
To answer your questions. I still have a huge mp3 collection so being able to link to folders and playing randomly would be great. Streaming could also work for those who prefer it, but I'm old school. Both options?
You can either replace existing songs or just add a custom radio station with only your music. Although I like hearing the DJs talk between songs giving updates and feedback, skillsongs etc.
Good luck with the development.
I'm working on being able to increase the number of songs per radio station, and I'm quite sure it should be possible to do so, given enough time.
I haven't published the tool yet, hopefully in 8-10 days. Once it is released, I will put up the source on Github so other people can contribute and seek/provide help. I will post a new thread here when I release the tool.
You have a high chance of getting banned sadly, if the ToS of the game says that you can't tamper with the game files through an external program then you're screwed. But the best case scenario is that PG sees this and thinks that it's cool and decides to let it exist.
