how to earn credits or cars

Main source are wheelspins. Innitially they get you little, because often you'll draw cosmetic trash instead of something useful, but you'll eventually have all of them, meaning you'll be always getting cars and cash.
Festival Playlist is fairly reliable source of new cars and super wheelspins, every week an expensive car, 3 to 5 spins and few cheap cars for minor events.
Between wheelspins and playlist, you likely won't be actually buying that many cars.

Finally, if desperate, you can grind perk points and try to buy wheelpsins in cars perk trees, or sit on acution house trying to flip event cars. Would not recommend either honestly, it's a soul sucking experience.

so what do you do?= im not getting this im lvl 90 and wheel spins doesnt get me many new cars or a lot of cash and doing races only gets you 10k?

There is the auction house and a few event lab events you can do for extra cash.

I used wheelspins as you can enjoy the game more while earning rather than repeating event labs or selling cars in the auction house.

Wheelspins aren't about the quality of the reward but the quantity of wheelspins the game drops.

i have done over 90 of them and i never earned a lot of cash

Credits earned from races is based roughly on duration of the race...the longer the race, the more credits you will get

its always the same for me even on the longest one that goes around the map its only 50k

More credits for higher difficulty as well if i recall correctly in PVE races.

Also - I think one of the houses you buy gives you one free wheel spin per day, assuming you log in daily for it to register.

Also - play all the weekly challenges - plenty of free & expensive cars to be won that way too, so keep them or sell them at auction.

Play the Auction House. Put those backstage passes to work. Stack up Forzathon points and flip them into credits. Pick and choose what rare cars you keep and which you sell. You can make a few millions within a week.

You just haven't played it enough. But ask yourself this. If you can't be bothered to play it to get the big money, why are you even playing it? You'll save up that fortune for whatever car it is you absolutely HAVE to have, drive it for 5 minutes, probably put a racing V12 and AWD on it, then go "meh".

^ What he said... once you get into the game proper, money doesn't really matter after a while.
Session horizon tour for a bit, 3 star all the races in single player mode etc.. that's what I did early game - doing that will bag you a load of cash and will also give you experience of different cars & track combos etc.

Well this week you win a Mclaren Senna by winning the trial, so it depends what you mean by slow?

Just play the game... you'll get loads of fast cars thrown at you as you progress.

Win rare cars every week and sell those. That's how you make your money. Every rare car comes back eventually, so you can recover them.

Make blueprints with 5 laps and play on Unbeatable. That usually gives you $100k or more per race. Plus more XP, which might grant you more money through wheelspins.

At start, the game isn't easy. But it gives you plenty of income options to play around with.
