Is it possible to stop the game from always starting with the navigator set to the route to the next race or whatever?

I find this very annoying because when I launch the game I usually just want to drive around freely. I don't want to go to the next race or whatever it sets the route to.

Is it possible to disable this behaviour?

Don't tell me to disable the navigator's voice. I know I can do that and that's clearly not what I am asking.

Also, in the current specific case, it sets the route to a challenge, which is to jump and get 2 stars. How annoying is that? I don't want it to set routes just for challenges. I don't want to be forced to do boring challenges. It always does this whenever I launch the game. It's so annoying.

So, is there a way to BY DEFAULT ALWAYS NOT HAVE ANY ROUTE IN THE NAVIGATOR WHENEVER I LAUNCH THE GAME?

That's strange. There should no such thing at all. All I can think that maybe you are still in the tutorial and you have to do some initial tasks to get rid of it.
