Keeps crashing

hi everyone, not sure if anyone is able to help me, but I was able to run forza on high settings for ages. Then all of a sudden after the latest NVIDIA driver update it keeps crashing straight after i load into the game, sometimes it won't even load in at all. This happening to anyone else or am i just unlucky? I've reinstalled the drivers, scanned for corrupted files, reinstalled the game but nothing is working. Even installed forza on the Xbox app and it was working perfectly fine but i didn't want to continue on there as i'm unsure if you can carry the progress on from steam to Xbox.
any ideas or suggestions would be gratefully appreciated

I have the same thing. I can't get past the welcome screen. It immediately drops me to the desktop. I checked the Windows log - it shows error 0xc0000005. This started after updating the game. I did the same thing, nothing helps. I wrote to support, but they have not helped, it's been 5 days. The game still hasn't started. I've never had such problems with any game, only with Forza 5. This is the most disgusting game in terms of support and optimization that I've ever played.

It's not about the drivers, I tried different versions, everything is the same. It all started after the season update, During the game in the middle of the race it threw me to the desktop without an error, I tried to start the game back, but it doesn't go beyond the welcome window and throws me to the desktop without an error. Even when choosing settings it also throws me.

Having the same issue. Every time it goes to sign into my xbox profile it crashes immediately. Very frustrating.

Same here. I updated the gpu driver and verified the game files and it said "3 files failed to validate and will be reacquired" and then updated the game but it didn't fix the issue.

Run a full chkdsk on the drive you are installing it on

if it's the C: drive, you'll need to reboot after you run the command

after 5-10 minutes on rally island, my video card loads up to 100% and then my entire PC freezes

i have 1100+ hours in this game and that never happened before

Same issue for a couple of days... Game is crashing after a few minutes

I played 80 hours of the game just fine last year. Reinstalled today and it just crashes constantly in between events

game crashes every 5-15 minutes since last update of the game. Nothing else has changed in my pc hardware or software. Will lose the seasonals if this keeps happening...cant even complete a single race. Have to try multiple times and the crashes are completely random. I got everything maxed out with TAA.
