Series/season/playlist not updating - given fallback seaso l

I was playing a rivals lap when the winter season was changing a couple of hours ago. I expected to be given the new playlist with the 4 weekly new playlists also but was give. The generic “fallback” season playlist. I am also unable to access the forzathon shop but can still enter online lobbies, horizon open and download community tunes. I am aware this can sometimes happen if you are having trouble accessing their servers but my internet connection is fine. I have logged out of the Xbox account t a d back in and this has not resolved the issues. Have also done numerous hardware and software resets, with no success. I have never had this happen before. My hardware I’m playing it on is a steamdeck. Can any assistance be given ?

Sounds like you're online but missing this weeks update. I'm clueless on steamdeck functionality unfortunately. (Disclaimer). I'm relating this as if it was a pc game issue.

Did you do the game update released on Tuesday? Can you verify the integrity of your game files on deck? This should force the update. Then restart the game/device.

Thanks mate. Turns out that it was a case of the game not updating due to the file size and not having enough room. The steamdeck isn’t very good at notifying of when the device is full and that it is stopping a game from updating (I’ve been a console player all my life and they generally tell you if this issue occurs).

Nice, glad you got it sorted :)
Not sure of its size on deck but it is a chunky game as well, 170+ gbs on pc.
