How to get the GR86?

I don't own the game yet but since I'm getting the car IRL I'd like to make a good montage for socials and was looking to get it on FH5 too. Videos on the tube are a bit old, can someone explain how to get it if I buy the game and start from scratch?

You can try to buy it at Auction House, if it's not available, you have to wait to get it from the events.

As a beginner who knows nothing about the game is that considered hard in terms of time it requires or can I get the car in let's say 3-4 days playing an average of 2hrs per day? Are they overpriced at auction house?

Getting money for car is the easy part. Actually finding one on auction house is pure luck, especially this long since event it was in. This car has been available exactly once so far, so most players hold onto theirs

The GR86 is considered a rare car is and it is not available from start in the game's autoshow. The car is only available as seasonal event prize, or you can buy it from other players through the game's Auction House. The price is usually very high (up to $20,000,000 in-game credits), since the car has only been offered very few times as a prize. Getting this amount is extremely difficult for a new player, just by grinding races.

You would have to put a lot of time grinding, wining rare cars and selling them yourself, until you have enough. That or just wait for the car to be offered as a prize again (which it will eventually).

If you're having trouble finding the GR86 at auction, you could try to get the Subaru BRZ from the same generation until they do a rerun of the GR86.
You'll have a better chance with that one, since it had a rerun a few months ago... However, it still costs 20M like every rare car.

Kinda too much effort and cost (in terms of time) to grind the car just to edit a specific video. I'll just wait for the mod to work back again, you guys are all kind but forza is not really my game. I just need to be able to drive the car in the game and thats it

buy the game beamng, and find a gr86 mod, better driving experience trust me, search up "kenemations gr86" and either buy it or get it for free (for legal reasons I am not condoning this however it potentially is an option)

Christmas is coming. They re-release a lot of "rare" cars around the holidays. Also new cars are being added to the Backstage Pass list regularly.
