i just got into the game so i missed the dark horse mustang, does that mean it's gone forever? i've seen some suggestion that people can post it to the auction house but there are none.

It's just a car and you will get hundreds of them.
Companies use fomo to keep people engage so try to enjoy what you have and catch what you can. past is dead and you don't know you will still play in future.
Am still trying to forget Valyrie AMR pro (20 millions and never in auction) while i already have lot's of insane S2 cars...

All cars come back one way or another. Don't worry. You'll probably see it as a reward in the near future. If you don't want to wait, you can keep checking the Auction House as well. If you're quick enough, you might snatch it, but be ready to pay at least 20 million.

Another option is to wait until the end of life of the game. Devs are known to not only add rare cars to the regular autoshow, but they also give out backstage passes every week so you can claim a rare car.

Honestly, it's just another Mustang. Don't buy into the "rare car" fomo or it will ruin the game for you.
