forza horizon 5 slow on pc?
Heard it is, and I've tried FH4 yesterday and actually had to refund it. Not only it'd get stuck for 2-3 minutes, it wouldn't even respond.
I have a good PC, nasa type as of 5 years ago.
Anyway is this the same with FH5 on pc?

I have a 6 year-old PC with an 8th gen Intel CPU and a 1080ti. I run the game maxed out at 1440p, with a 90fps manual lock. I have never seen the game stutter or drop frames bellow 70 in the most demanding area of the map.

Game runs great. Much better than FH4 and FH3 ever did. Now, I do have the Windows/Xbox app version. Whether the Steam version might run equally good or worse is up to debate.

I play fh 4 at 2k 60+ fps with a midrange pc from 3-4 years ago. Horizon games are some of the best optimized games on the market for how good they look, it's definitely a problem with your pc.

I currently play FH5 on a desktop I build on 2018. AMD Ryzen 2600X, GTX1060 6gb and 16GB ram DDR4. Currently I play it on an NVme but until a couple of months ago I had it on a mechanical HDD and it runs smooth, I do reckon, I upgraded to 16GB ram dual channel two years ago, with 8gb it was almost a nightmare.

And the loading screens? Are they massively slow like FH4?

I've ran FH4 on my ssd too but it seems safe by what you're telling me? I just don't wanna wait eternity for the game to download and then find out it does the same as FH4 loading screens

Runs beautifully on my PC at an average of 90+fps @1440p in extreme.

My specs:

R7 7800X3d
32GB DDR5
RX 6700XT

Alright then I'll give it a go, trusting no insanely long loading screens from what you've told me. Thank you a ton for your time and help.
