please remove helicopter while Race mode in Rally DLC
As you know rally DLC have helicopter co-driver

But in Horizon RACE, we run tracks with other drivers like other tracks do in Mexico

Frankly, I turn off Alex's voice because it's making me more confused, so Helicopter making dust storms ahead makes more hard to drive.

Horizon Rally mode -> helicopter is fine, "co-driver" should be somewhere and I get it

Horizon Race mode -> Helicopter is just making visual disadvantage and does nothing but flying around

thank you

Just my two cents: buy a rally based road car or an actual rally car, equip it with rally lights and there is a map at the bottom left of the screen that "highlights" the route. Also, maybe your driving skills need work too. I've been playing the rally map DLC since launch and I've had no issues with the helicopter. For sound issues, do what I do and plug in some giant headphones into the headphone jack to cancel out the noise and when I'm good and ready I put them on to hear the sound once in a blue moon.

Same with crowd screaming during races, or when passing fesival sites. Somehow louder than unmuffled V10 maybe 50cm from drivers head.

Sounds balancing is all over the place in entire game, really, and there's no darn thing you can do about it, because game bundles like 20 unrelated sound sources under 1 slider. If you try to reduce volume of bells, or yelling, or helicopter, you'll also reduce volume of your tires, or other players engines...
