If you see THE CREW 2 on special in the meantime, get that.

I got it for $5 and feel it is very similar to Forza.
Forza is very expensive, might not be worth it to you after playing The Crew 2.

You also do not need a microsoft account or any of that nonsense.

You do need an Ubisoft Connect (Uplay) account to play the Crew or any Ubisoft games, whereas you can play Forza on your MS account which you should have already if you have a legal copy of windows. Crew series are online only games, so as with the Crew1 recently, will be removed from your library when they close the servers one day. And not a trainsmash for most but if your display is greater than 60hz, all Crew games have a framecap of 30/60fps.
I'd recommend Forza over any other open world racing series hands down.

Even if this game is a masterpiece regarding gameplay and graphics, not worth 30 bucks :
- Lot's of content are behind DLC or casino wheelspins
- Challenges and seasons are a pain.
- Cars are too expensive and unbalance FE

Completionists ? Run away...
If you forget online and all cars, it's a great game...
