I'm fairly new to the game, but I'm now stuck on the first half of the past midnight chapter, any tips/tricks to passing this part of the course? Doesn't seem to matter what I do, the supra feels too dang slow to ever win. Been messing around with braking at different times and tweaking my settings for assists, obviously less assists the better, but it's a struggle. I just want my exorcist lol

I believe AI difficulty setting also affects bots in "stories", so maybe lowering it under the floor will do the trick. 3-star rating will also be easier without them getting in way.

Best advice I can give you and this has helped me tons in any story chapter is refer to the map and see if you can find alternate paths/shortcuts/ways to improve your final finishing time and get three stars on every single chapter and try your best to keep the cars speed up by finding good, quick lines/paths. Also, I did have to do this for certain story chapters I was struggling to get three stars on is try to find youtube videos relating to events you're struggling with and that helped a lot. I don't remember this exact chapter, but you don't always have to stick on roads, or follow the GPS. If there are no checkpoints you can just b-line through the terrain. On some stories that is the only way to get 3 stars anyway.
