How the F**K do I get the convey invites?

When I my friend send me an invite most of the time I don't get them. When I send him the invite sometimes he does sometimes he doesn't. Spamming doesn't help. I have no clue on what to do, I can try these things listed below but sometimes they don't help.
I disconnect and reconnect online.
I close the Xbox application and reopen it.
I see if it didn't went though the chat window for my friend yet the bell area.
Sometimes this works but some times it doesn't.

It shouldn't f**King take hours to just play. We live in the US but not in the same state. He has the same problem with another one of his friend and he has the exact same problem. Then if the game crashes for one of us the progress restarts over or somehow when the game kicks one of us form the convey.

How do we Get it so it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ just works?

I have the same problem with convoying with friends, sometimes it's flawless other times it just doesn't work. I feel your pain.

Usually invites are in Game Bar . But from time to time when i dont see them in Game Bar must open Xbox app and there are shown. No idea why.

A good number of times it's not even in the Xbox Application.

The xbox app seems the most reliable way. Whoever is being invited just has to alt tab and accept the invite via the xbox app then tab back in and it should join convoy. The in game overlay is terrible.
