The physic in the game is very good because it comes from simulation.
With traction and brake assist, it's very pleasant to drive (better than GTA or NFS).
Weirdly, i hate direction assist because you can't do left-right fast.
- But being able to shortcut in dirt with road tires without being slow down...
- IA is cheating, you can clearly see it in X : trash car are insane when the IA drives...
- Some race are easy in unbeatable, some dirt one are impossible if you do 1 mistake...
- IA tries to ram you (already saw it going way too fast and straight into a wall missing me in corner...)
- The trajectory line on the ground is often not the best
- Game is like a F2P (but isn't) with expensive DLC and casino lootboxes...
So yes racing isn't great but it's my favorite driving game (gameplay and graphics are god tier).

You then somehow lost said argument and concluded that "Forza fans" are "confusing".
God no I steer clear from arguing online since I have nothing to gain. Those are just what I noticed in comment sections of other racing games on youtube.
Me personally? I hate the off-road physics, I feel like the game was mainly built around smooth surface driving because cars go CRAZY once off-road and getting air-time. It's actually the main reason I have rewind on, otherwise I'd go insane from how many times I'd have to restart race because my car decided to break dance upside down.
To see fans excuse the physics, search up "forza horizon physics issue" or something.
To see fans praise the physics, just watch a youtube video of a different game's review and see the comment section.
One of the most apparent and open d-ride I noticed was on those videos comparing driveclub graphics with forza. The comment sections are infested with people saying driveclub is inferior because the physics are arcadey.

You've posted in a completely unrelated topic.
Personally I think Forza is hands down the best but I'm not going to try and convince anyone that believes otherwise. It's where I get the most entertainment. Does that make me a fan? yes probably does. Am I going to go around the internet convincing people in comment sections? No I won't.
From the millions of Forza 5 players, I think using the minority of online trolls as the average 'fanbase' isn't very accurate. Enjoy whatever game best suits you dude. At least we have options.
Where did you find people defending it?
[edit]
If you play on Unbeatable, then of course it will be unreasonably hard! You not only face AI with almost unlimited grip, but also scripted to rubberband away from you if you start gaining on it!
A little tip on presenting a problem: you actually have to present it, don't tell people to search for it themself. They won't, and they'll likely dismiss your arguments as you being angry and incoherent. No one pays attention to that.
