"Incorrect Car for Seasonal Objective"?!

I filtered my car list, as I usually do when it comes to these challenges. It showed the 2022 Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro as an option. I checked the eligible car list(Extreme Track Toys), it's there, so I spent some time rebuilding, and re-configuring it for the challenge so it meets the S2 998 limit. Then I beat the required time at SPEED ZONE "Camino Del Cielo", and beat it by about 4 mph(iirc)... just to see "INCORRECT CAR..." Pleas explain how following the rules, invalidates the hour I spent working on beating a challenge within the rules! ><

This is the same report I sent to the game support website, just sharing it in case anyone else had issues. I'll update when I get info.

I spent another half hour trying it again, THIS TIME it allowed me to complete the objective. So, if you use the AMR Pro, I'd suggest changing cars in between in order for it to work, that's all I did. I hope this helps someone out, because it frustrated the hell out of me :\
