WHAT IS UP WITH THE EXTREME PRICING FOR THE CARS NEEDED FOR THIS WEEKS WEEKLY CHALLENGE!!! Most of us don't have that many forzathon points (1200) to purchase the Aston Martin DBR1, just to get back 160 points from the challenge and have a chance at getting any cars each week. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?

Now I have to decide which week should I actively engage with the game or not.. as I won't be able to accrue enough points to unlock any cars at this rate. Really? What were you thinking???

I usually defend Forza, but they should be called out for this. The reason is obvious: to push Car Vouchers.

It's a really scummy practice that thus far I hope I'd never see in Forza.

Make the need for ultra expensive cars that are nearly impossible to obtain, so it strong-arm players to buy Vouchers

Might not affect us old players, but it is a really crappy situation for new players. I also noticed the sudden decrease in Auction values for cars that used to cost millions. Now they cannot be sold for more than 50k.

I think last week was the same, had to get the car on Auction, which was not cheap, and basically i now have no credit in game. This is a really scummy move, and needs to be stopped.

Wait until the end of this Series. They said they would add a bunch of new cars and previous reward cars to the Autoshow. I can see them costing 8 figures.

I suspect that FH6 is further away than we think and this is a new way for them to generate money from an "old" game in the meantime. Apart from paying for the Premium edition on day one, I refuse to buy the overpriced carpacks or vouchers.

Grand Turismo school. 1200 points would require completetion of 20 Arcade events which, at rate 4/hour, makes 5 hours of grind. Not much by F2P standards, granted, but FH is not a F2P game.

How expensive new autoshow cars will likely depend mostly on category. Classic Racers were always the most expensive cars in series.

To be fair, the car in question is rather rare and prestigious as it is anyway. Still think they should have cut down the price just a bit, though.

I thought it was a bit much as I don't spend forza points on anything for a very long time and I'm about 300 points short.

but then I have over 100 million credits so I can just buy it if I really want to... I once spent 20, million credits on a lambo GTO just to get the 'spend 20 million on a car' accolade.

I then immediately gifted it into a barn find, for some lucky person, as I already had that car, and I've really got nothing to spend credits on so I just don't care... well i spend credits on tuning now and then but I earn far more than I spend.

If you play the game long enough, the in-game credits become pretty meaningless, as you'll be racking up credits each race and not often spending them.

I do a lot of drift arcades and have 47k points with nothing to spend them on. I just buy the shop cars every week and gift them. Would be nice to be able to do something with our kudos as well. You also get 100 points from the weekly challenge. For people not doing the arcades 1200 points is a bit of a grindfest, agreed.

Glad I'm not crazy. Now I don't think I will be playing FH5 for a month until this stupidity is removed. Completing challenges that do not require upfront forking of insane amount of credits was fun. But this is now an incentive to just use that time on another game, or buy a new one to try.

As if they weren't ingoring Forza forum too. Last time I saw them do something, anything, was when FM8 locked car upgrades behind hours-long grind, which got players understandably upset.
To be specific, Turn10 changed default filters to display topics, so new topics are not visible during browsing...

Personally i have enough Forza points and enough CR to buy the car about 5 times over in the showcase but its still predatory and i refuse to buy Car vouchers. They could at least give us half of our Forza points (600fp) back in return for completing the challenge or even CR. I thought last week challenge was bad.... (2016 BMW M4 GTS) I was lucky enough to have the car which you can only get on car collection for collecting most of the BMWs in the game....

If you look at the top pinned discussions, there are at least 2 T10 reps I won't name.
They never get involved in the banter here if they read the discussions at all.
I understand them not getting involved in some of the topics as there is a lot of hate towards them that goes down here at times, but to just get involved in support type topics would be great. We can dream.
