PS5 controller not working properly

I used to play with a PS4 controller and i never had any issues, however with my new PS5 controller i can´t play the game properly. For example i press L1 one time and it does skip 3-4 menus instead of one, same for the analog, anyone with the same issue?

I tried all settings nothing worked.

I'm using my Dualsense Edge with no issues with FH5. Make sure in Settings -> Controller you have 'Playstation Controller Support' set to "Enabled in Games w/o Support. I then use the default button layout that steam selects. I find it best to set this after game has launched using Shift+Tab and selecting controller in the steam overlay.

I have it already set to ´´Enabled in Games w/o support´´ but it still doesn´t work properly, this only happens with FH5, all my other games work properly.

hi bro, did you solve the problem with the PS5 controller, otherwise I want to buy this game just because of the controller, is it worth buying?

The only other thing I can think of is on the game page, on the right select 'View Controller Settings'. That will open up the FH5 steam input, make sure it's enabled (maybe cycle it to disabled then enabled, if already on).

I'm using the default 'Offical Layout for Forza Horizon 5 - gamepad'. you can then view/edit the layout to make sure everything is mapped to what you want.

I got it fixed by updating the laptop and doing a restart mate
